In an interview with Game Informer about The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma casually let slip that Ganondorf and Sheik would be appearing in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. And we have to say it-- we prefer the casual, matter-of-fact "revelation" of obvious information to seeing old characters treated like a big deal in the Dojo. When asked about his involvement with Zelda characters' representations in Brawl, Aonuma indicated that his team worked closely with Masahiro Sakurai's team. He said that his team sent the initial character designs over, and then Sora tweaked them to fit Smash Bros.' style. Note to Sora: there is still plenty of time to implement Tingle. Or, if not Tingle, Old Man.

Nice. I really didn't think Sheik would make it back.
I am surprised the site still hasn't posted the Dojo update, which kicks ass.

yeah, they might not be playable characters though... they could still be assist trophies or something...
and why hasn't anyone updated with the latest dojo update?!
"Super Smash Bros. Brawl: The Subspace Emissary is a robust side-scrolling action game!"
They seem to be putting a lot of emphasis on one player action this better not mean that there's no multiplayer since noone has confirmed it yet (which is a little suspicious)...

Well I didn't doubt sheik would be in it since zelda transformed into hi...her in the previous installment. and Ganondorf , well hopefully he'l get new moves like B could fire one of those ball things in O- of time and down B would transform into Ganon (or maybe that could be his super smash)

James, what do you mean by "no confirmation of multiplayer"? Online multiplayer? And this is really the first I've heard of the single-player component of the game. I really don't think SSBB is going to turn into some Soul Calibur: Legends disaster.

nice to hear sheik and Gdorf. in it, hopefully Sheik as her own character, but come on, Crono from chronotrigger should be in brawl. think about. B Move could be his "Confuse attack" time the b buttons to consecuitively attack the opponent. up B for his spin move for his rebound.

I figured Ganondorf would come back, because even though he's a clone, Luigi the Clone probably will also come back, because both are distinct enough from the originals (C. Falcon and Mario), as opposed to the more blatant clones: Link and Young Link, Marth and Roy, Fox and Falco, Pikachu and Pichu, and Mario and Dr. Mario (the worst of the clones)
