Some games -- like Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, and parts of Big Brain Academy -- require a Wii remote-pass for multiplayer, instead of giving people the chance to simply use their own. While this can be a benefit (for example, it allows for some huge Wario Ware bouts), with only a few people, we tend to find it annoying. How about you?Wii Warm Up: Passing the remote

I think Wario Ware is great for having multiplayer in larger parties without leaving (as many) people out of the game. It also makes it cheaper than having to buy 4 Wiimotes and nunchucks for your Wii...
But even so, multiplayer *is* generally better when all the participants can play at the same time. (Raving Rabbids fail this because many minigames are played once per player, rather than everyone simultaneously.)

There is really no reason why we can't be given the option of using one remote or multiple remotes. Wii Bowling play it perfectly, you can play 4 players with one remote if that's all you have or you can play 4 players with 4 remotes if everyone has one.
Most of the time, when I'm playing multiplayer, it's with people who aren't used to playing video games. I cringe when they are waving the remote all around without using the wrist strap because it's just a matter of time before it slips out. But if we are having to pass the remote back and forth I'm not going to make the put it on each time. Whereas if everyone has their own controller, you slip it on one time, keep it on and forget about it.
Give us the option.

I think its very stupid. Yet I think Warioware has it for a reason, makes it more hectic, etc.

i like warioware. but passing the controller when you ony have to or 3 ppl gets kinda annoying. and if we all have a wiimote then it would be easy'er becuz then we can just play with it pick the next minigame or watever and then chillen.and for the pumping game you could actually pump if it let us have more than 1 wiimote

But you can have one wiimote for bowling since generally one team has one lane and take turns using that lane. Or something. I think it depends on the game. Bowling where competitors usually have one at a time is acceptable but ...

I would agree with popular consensus, its not annoying in and of itself, but should be implemented wisely

Maybe I'm just Anal Retentive about this kinda stuff, but... Ya ever notice how people never seem to treat your stuff like they'd treat yours? Honestly, I don't want someone who's just been eating potato chips, something sticky, you name it to grab hold of my wiimote and nunchuck. Honestly, they aren't going to care if it gets sticky or other food stuff gets left on the controller in down under the buttons.
Nah... For me, it's one controller per player. I can probably deal with having to clean one controller of a few potato chip crumbs. But, combine four or six people eating stuff and you got one NASTY controller.

Warioware's OK cause when you play with 12 people with one controller, it makes it really hectic, like skewzzme said, but alot of people hold my remote with really greasey hands, and I have to wash it with a damp towel after everyone goes home. Same with Wii Bowling, but sometimes I wish 4 people can bowl at the same time

I like how it adds to the madness for Wario Ware with everyone scrambling to grab the Wiimote as their turn pops up, but for games not based around flailing and chaos it's a little dumb.

as long as they games can be played with one controller it's fine. it's not like the controller is wired and can get hindered by people being too far away from tv.
