Like the last two clips, the first video provides a few details pertaining to the story, background info on the malfunctioning Aurora Unit in this case; the other movie, more focused on gameplay, shows Samus Aran in her Spider Ball form, navigating a series of winding rails and tracks. The Aurora Unit's resemblance to a certain previous antagonist has us tingling. Yes, tingling! The next two videos, P.E.D. Suit and Air Assault, hit the preview channel this Thursday.

I certainly didn't expect videos this thursday.
On a side note, there's a new Wii update that fixes a critical glitch for Internet Channel users, along with LAN Adapter owners (any of you bought that thing? Wifi is the future!) :P

I was always planning on buying MP3, but ever since they've been showing off these new videos, I've become very excited! It's going to be a deadly game.

You know, you really spoiled the fun of downloading it. What's the point if you just stick them on the website anyway?

Is this channel US only? I'm in the UK and I can't seem to find it... but it might be me being stupid!

I wasn't that interested in this game at all. Echoes was the only Prime I played and I didn't really like it. But I took notice of the game when the channel launched and I saw the trailor, and now that I have seen the Aurora, I'm putting down a preorder on Amazon.

Yes, it's only available in the US, as far as I know --- everyone else will probably get it during the month that the game releases in their region.
On another note, this really leaves me wondering why Nintendo hasn't created a standalone "Video Preview" channel to view clips for upcoming games, which keeps itself updated like the Metroid Preview channel is doing. It's not storing any of the videos in the Wii's memory, they're buffering from online, so storage wouldn't be an issue. Of course, you could just use the Internet channel for that... but that's no fun. Maybe this Metroid Preview channel is a test run for things to come...

Well, now I have an idea on possibly how the supercomputer gets infected by a virus. It will be interesting to see if I'm right or not. Either way, I know I won't be disappointed with this game and I am looking forward to the 28th of this month.
I will agree with Leonidas. Aurora does seem alot like MotherBrain.

While everyone is talking Mother Brain, did anyone point out that in the spider ball video, Samus does a morph ball jump? You know, the one where you don't need a bomb.

Retro said they're including the ball jump to minimize using the bomb so much for short hops.

anyone know why i can't get the videos to work? it kidna freezes up at the buffering screen in a way. it loads the buffering screen but the little spinning circle doesn't appear (just saw it in this video for the first time) and then it never gets past this screen. i've waited a half hour but the buffering screen is still there and pressing A does nothing so i have to reset or return to the wii menu, any help?

For this month of Metroid thing, I say Nintendo should create some sort of interactive timeline, or history of the games to the Metroid Preview Channel. This would give new gamers or those new to the series some background. Just a thought, so something I would like to see.
