Eurogamer is reporting that, within the next few weeks, the Wii will have sold a total of one million units in the UK. Some of you savvy Nintendo fans in the region might know that the GameCube sold a little over one million units in its entire lifespan there. As of right now, the Wii is outselling its competition rather easily.
Sales for the Wii compared to the Xbox 360 are about four to one each week, while compared to the PS3, it's about six to one each week. That's not to say the Wii won't have its work cut out for it, however, with the Xbox 360 receiving a price cut (likely to occur in the UK, as well) and a certain game releasing next month.
