Today's update, however, has some new tidbits of info for you to chew on. It reveals to us the Subspace Army, which is builds on the previous update involving the new Adventure mode in the game. These enemies are ruled by the Ancient Minister, who is so conveniently pictured above. He comes and takes world back into subspace with him.
Courtesy of YouTube, you can check out the latest trailer showing off these goons past the post break.

Awesome.
I really hope this single player mode is comparable, if not far superior to the multiplayer mode, actually.
Also, online co-op, if it makes sense.

Finally time limits make sense. Or we could beat the R.O.B.s into tiny slow (well faster in Brawl) mechanical parts. And Petey Piranha is in there.

Yes, yes, yes
This is just the kind of fucked-up crossover madness that i've wanted from Smash Bros since the beginning!
Mario's laid out, now Kirby has to save Peach and Zelda from the clutches of Petey Pirhana! A proud day for Kirby fans, and i will totally change my avatar back to Kirby once this game comes out (in honor of his glory)

For having been stuck in an endless loop of underwater pipes until your games have ended... Yeah that there is a good reason to attack with poor neglected R.O.B.s.

Kirby won't be able to take out that Ancient Minister himself. He's gonna need Donald and Goofy to help him out. Because as I said when they first premiered the Subspace Emissary, the enemies are totally the Heartless.

Thank you Drahken, I felt like I was seeing similarities that didn't exist. Yeah, the Subspace Emissary seems to be doing for the Nintendoverse exactly what the Kingdom Hearts series did for the Disneyverse and ...Enixverse? Sounds better than Squareverse. Anyway, the major difference seems to be the decision to make it a ridiculously good fighting game and not a 3-D hack and slash (Wow, I'm about to be eaten alive by KH fans if there are any on NWF).
