Yes, we know. It's a bad joke. But in talking about a franchise debut on the Wii, a franchise we have little to no familiarity with, we were stuck trying to find the appropriate image. The important thing is we're getting more third-party support, which is something we can never get enough of.
And if you're curious about how the game plays, you can check out a trailer for the Xbox 360 version right here. You know, just to give you an idea.

France sent out Zidane.
Zidane used Headbutt.
OK so I don't know how that one goes... Better than Joystiq's picture.

now this whole fifa and pro evo competition could lead to great graphics and greater gameplay. Cuz Wii is the most succesful console out there and soccer is the most popular sport of the world so the winner leaves rich!

exactly what dries said.
PES/ISS is possibly the most anticipated yearly released game in Europe, despite the odd lapse it is generally the best football game by a country mile.
Its a huge pity that the DS version was a pile of wank, and makes me wonder how they will ruin the Wii version.
Either way, I can't wait for it to come out, unless of course EA do the right thing and make FIFA 08 outstanding for the Wii.
