That reminds me of Pit, from Kid Icarus, but I guess the wings are based on Super Mario World, where Yoshi would get its wings, and turn blue.

OH man! Yoshi has the BEST Final Smash ever! What a way to go back to his roots.
The only thing missing is the Yellow Shell's/Yoshi's power. When he lands on the floor, he should make a small earthquake and clouds of smoke should come out from his feet, similar to how those two stars come out after landing his down-B.

Actually, Crazylink, you are slightly off. You are correct that the wings are from carrying a blue shell in his (or her, I dunno, it lays eggs) mouth, and the fireballs are from spitting out the red shells, but the yellow shells make him stomp, and he doesn't appear to stomp with this final smash, unless they didn't reveal all the details. To be more exact, though, this appears to be a spin off of the flashing shells in Super Mario World, which gave him all three powers (once again, though, this having the absence of stomping).
Fun fact: the fire breathing appears to be from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, when eating a red watermelon. Kudos to Sakurai; I would never have thought such a brilliant final smash for Yoshi.

I agree. I would've thought cutesy characters like Yoshi would have lame smashes, but this could not have turned out better. Makes me wonder about jigglypuff...

Well lets stop talking about Yoshi's final smash. I'd like to speculate about the final smashes of other characters. Like for example, I dunno if Ganondorf is going to appear yet but I'm pretty sure he will and his final smash I think it's gonna be a Ganon transformation. You know, the giant boar from twilight princess.
