Wow, what a week for the Wii, eh? First, we're getting Metroid Prime 3 and now we get three stellar Virtual Console games?! Someone killed us and we're typing this from beyond the grave, is that it? Yup, that has to be it: we're dead.
We'll say hello to Ghandi for you.

Breath of Fire II (SNES, 1 player, 800 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: download it!
Capcom's Breath of Fire II is an amazing RPG. It has a great story and is a really fun game. As far as what sets it apart amongst other RPG titles, we wouldn't know what to tell you. A lot of the things you find to be staples of the genre emerged from this franchise, so if you enjoy the RPG genre, you'll love this game.

Ghouls 'n Ghosts (Sega Genesis, 1 player, 800 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: download it!
Sure, it was designed to consume every quarter in a kid's pocket, but sometimes it seems to be downright mean. Even with all of that, the game is still engaging and fun. How can you not love Capcom's side-scroller?! You can't not love it, that's how.

Super C (NES, 1-2 players, 500 Wii points)
Wii Fanboy says: download it!
For how much we're pumped for Contra 4, you should know we're fans of the franchise (that is, if you read DS Fanboy, which you should). As such, Konami's side-scroller kicks a lot of ass on the NES and should be downloaded by just about every VC user out there. It's got great multiplayer and is fun from pick up to put down. Seriously, it's Contra ...
That concludes our look at this week's Virtual Console games. As always, if you have any tips or rumors regarding Nintendo's Virtual Console service, be sure to let us know and come back next week when we take a look at the latest titles available on the Nintendo Wii.

Don't get Ghost/Goblins/Ghouls whatever; you'll shoot yourself in the head over it.

I think you could help with RPG reviews if you read or asked around what the RPG is about, and briefly mentioned it.
Having never played Breath of Fire, I can't help you there, but take Super Mario RPG, for example.
Instead of showing the first level, you could say how "The princess has been kidnapped yet again", "There's someone bigger than Bowser being the bad guy", how the game is turn based, how the characters are likeable, or not.
You could comment a lot from the story, and perhaps how it plays out in the "history" of their games (such as how Metroid games are all different parts of the timeline) and how it relates to its past or future iterations of the game.
But thats just my 2 cents.

I still say Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts rocks the casbah harder than the Genesis one, but indeed, they are both lovely to behold.
