The upcoming Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 is slated to have the one thing that many gamers consider important for the franchise: online play. But from the newly-released shots, it's got something else as well -- a pretty good look! Looks like EA put a little something extra into art direction to maximize the Wii's capabilities (unless there's something else afoot), and we like the effect. Maybe this means we can start looking forward to some better looking titles.Get a load of Medal of Honor: Heroes 2

If those are genuine Wii shots then it looks promising.
However EA aren't generally noted for great games, despite thier millions, and the original team behind the intial Medal of Honor games now make Call Of Duty - which is (on PC anyway) fantastic - just like MOH:Allied Assault.

NOTE: When I say "EA aren't generally noted for great games" I mean EA's own dev. teams. There have been some good games released under the E.A "Brand" however - Burnout, Sim City, The Sims (I guess) and of course, the 'original' Medal of Honor games.

The game won't look anywhere near that good. The Wii is certainly capable of making a game look that good, but there's no way EA will put in the effort to do it.

I'm convinced that those are bullshots because not once did i see a jagged edge. Everything looked like it had been taken to with the photoshop blur tool. Not even a 360 or a PS3 could pull of such a thing. Its most noticeable on the shot of you in the fixed gun emplacement. the kraut closest to you has half of his head blured while his visor has jagged edges? okay maybe there were a few jaggies. but still is it motion blur? bloom lighting? airbrush?

Hmm, if you look at the original pics here http://jeux-france.com/news21587_moh-heroes-2-se-devoile.html
You can see some "jaggies" but as you pointed out it seem likely these are screens taken from the game running on a developers PC.

Why cant they just release shots that are from each system and state what system they are on instead of dolling them up and trying to tout them as a systems.
I mean once the game does come out it will show, and they cant hide that. So why mislead everyone in the first place only to have their hopes dashed.

Honestly I didn't even take a look at the images on this site so I can't judge if they are real or not but I did look at all the images from IGN and read their hands on review. This is the game I have been waiting for since the early news of it being 32 players online. This is the kind of game the Wii has needed since the first mention of playing online with the Wii.
If EA can make the online play with as little disconnects and lag as an xbox game then I see a silver lining in the future of the Wii competing with the other systems' online gaming. Ever since Ghost Recon 2 and Americas Army online war games has had a place in my heart.
Also about those who are worried about the graphics in this game; just so you know at 60 frames per second this game doesn't have room for jagged edges or it would look so discombobulated you wouldn't even know whats going on in the game. It looks like EA has a gem on their hands here with graphics and a killer online mode.

The previous MoH game for Wii dissapointed me bitterly. I knew I was in trouble when the menu required me to use the nunchuk to select items.
It got worse.
The controls in general were unintuitive, relying on the nunchuck to do some critical manoeuvres - I'd try and duck and end up doing a 180!
And the graphics. Yeesh. I could deal with bland textures, but when I all-but through the game in the trash was when I went into a house and it was *pitch black*. This was not a feature of the game (it was day not night), it was a mistake. I had to fire my way through just to light the place up a little... Took me 3 goes!
I hope this game is better... although by the time I get my hands on it, presumably Metroid 3 will be out in Europe...
