Continuing our romp through the Metroid series's boxart history, we're ending today with a look at covers from Samus's prime installments on both handhelds and consoles. We've also thrown in the packaging designs from the NES Classics releases which we neglected to include yesterday, though none of you noticed. As for music pairings, the boxarts past the post break go best with The Commodores's "Three Times a Lady." Seriously, try it.

Japan always get better art. Also I promised I wouldn't repeat the joke from yesterday.

Not the left part of it, obviously.

@Blue_Falcon
That illustration is from a four-page fold-out spread in the Super Metroid Player's Guide, which is filled with similar art. Also, the same artist worked on the Metroid comic that was in Nintendo Power when Super Metroid was released.

bluezy: Agreed. Nice to have a Metroid cover that... ACTUALLY HAS METROID ON IT. :D
Psst... You guys have a US cover for Prime 2 EU (though, it's probably the same anyways).
This thread needs more Samus.

Prime series has had some terrible box arts. They all feature Samus standing. Corruption's even has three Samuses (Samusi) standing.

I'd say PAL got the best deal for Prime & Prime 2, while Japan was top in Prime Hunters and Prime Pinball
No way they're gonna make anything better than the US Prime 3 logo, though
unless they find a way to cram more Samus on there...

Does anyone have the japanese box art for corruption, I felt the US boxart was horrible, and since japan always has better boxart I would be interested to see it.
