Oh, how lucky some are.
We wish we could be strolling around the halls of Retro Studios, trusty camera in hand to capture all of the wonderful things that happen within its walls. But, no, we have to settle for watching GameSpot's video tour instead.

- There! At 1:21! What's a 360 controller doing there?!
- Anyways, I love Retro. I'm glad that they think of themselves as a Nintendo company instead of a western one. It adds to the perfection.

I think that this company is really a part of Nintendo. I think that Nintendo and this company are the same. When I think of the Metroid team, I think of a team... not of Retro over here and Nintendo over there. They are a team. Retro is a part of Nintendo.
And they aren't like Western developers... 'cus those guys just suck. Retro is part of Nintendo and Retro is therefore very much a Japanese-minded developer... because Retro is a part of Nintendo.
...Point: I get it. :)

In related topics, I hope now that Retro is taking a break from Metroid, they can use the awesome MP3:C engine to make a full-fledged online FPS for the Wii that satisfies everyone who was disappointed about the lack of online in Corruption. It'd be awesome, and I'm hoping it comes to pass.

You gotta be kidding me. You guys are actually surprised to see a 360 controller at Retro? I didn't find that the least bit unusual. If anything it should be expected. I'm willing to bet they have a PS3 laying around somewhere too. I would also expect to find a Wii controller at Microsoft and so on.
They probably even have development kits for other systems.

Gamespot sucks.
It was cool seeing Retro's place but that wasn't much of a tour.
Just about anybody could have made a better video tour than that.
