Wathed this video last night. The recent IGN preview had built up my enthusiasm a bit for this game, but that video put it down again :-/

The on-rails arcade shooter part actually looks pretty good, it's the main campain mode that looks more than slightly dodgy in that video. Looks like they're very much aiming at the good old casual crowd, seems like you're not only wearing a bullet proof vest but the jacket, trousers, boots & helmet to match. He takes alot of shots in that video and doesn't even seem to need to get down & recover a while.

Also the sound of those bullets whistling over your head do not sound good(from that video anyway), even Red Steel had more realsitic bullet sounds.

Guess we'll wait and see when the reviews start to appear, I suspect they'll be held back until release though.

One to watch rather than preorder for me, although I'm hoping it turns out to be great(now after MP3 we know the Wii is perfect for FPS)!

Hang on! Just watched the video a 2nd time & I now realise the sniper & rocket launcher part are infact part of the on-rails arcade shooter part of the game. Only the last 10 seconds or so are the actual campaign mode. I'm a bit more hopeful again now as that part looks ok :-)

yeah, you guys kinda threw me off with that montage... you shouldn't have mixed the on-rails part with the actual main gameplay.. but you can tell the difference if you pay attention, the screens where a "RELOAD" appears are part of the on-rails (which isn't bad but just not as good as the actual campaign that shows itself near the very end of the video... looking good!

Eh? Are they targeting with joystick or what???

The moves are too clumsy for WiiMote targeting.

Looks like shooter, but little of action due to clumsy moves == designed for classical controller, targets literally are awaiting to be shot. Silly. Clumsy.

only 8 hours of campaign mode, but you can go online so that should make up for it

I think it looks as good (visually) as any Wii game I've seen so far, I'd say this is one of the first previews I've seen that really puts the Wii to work in the graphics department.

I noticed the sniping mode uses tilting to move around. I'm curious to know how accurate that will be. Whoever was playing in the video, was knocking them off left and right. So I guess it can work.

I think the whole on-rails shooting genre just works really really well for the Wii. I'm curious to find out more about this game.

To bad Time Crisis 4 will be a PS3 exclusive. :-(

post 10 your adsatorating it looks like what it is A POLISHED AND REFINED PSP ENGINE dont get mii wrong it will leave cod3 and vangard in its dust but to say there galaxy/prime 3 levels of graophics simply isnt true the polygon count for starters is well with in gamecube limits i sujest wii can double those visuals at 60 frames and kill them if locked at 30 frames like cough PS3 SHOOTERS COUGH
