This week wasn't the best as far as Virtual Console content goes, but we managed to still bring forth a video wrap-up on the day's games, despite our lack of enthusiasm to do so. Oh well, at least we got Sonic 3, right?
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (Sega Genesis, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: download it!
Sonic 3 is the title to get this week, providing the only worthwhile download of note. For 800 Wii Points, it is easily recommended for download, as it is the best of what the franchise has to offer, in our humble opinion.
NES Play Action Football (NES, 1-4 players, 500 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: do not download
NES Play Action Football may have been an amazing game when first introduced to the market and a crowning achievement for Nintendo from a developer's point of view, but it hardly stands up to the test of time. With an easily-exploited AI and lack of depth, we wouldn't suggest giving it a download.
Neutopia II (TurboGrafx16, 1 player, 600 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: do not download
Neutopia II is more of the same, offering up another Zelda-esque experience on the TurboGrafx16. With loads of NPC interaction and dungeon crawling, the game has everything Zelda does. That is, except for the crisp controls and, more importantly, fun.

Sonic 3 is a very good first half of a game. I won't buy it until they release Sonic & Knuckles and a way to lock them on to each other. Otherwise, it's like playing Super Mario Bros through World 4-2, playing Sonic 2 through Hill Top Zone, or getting 60 stars in Super Mario 64 (75 stars in SM64DS).

No one is ever going to read this, but I will post something just the same.
What the hell man, Neutopia 2 is great, and I've already played the hell out of zelda, I'm not going to play it again. Not to mention that was before it rerelease on the virtual console, I have about 4 iterations of that game, that I atually got with other games for free, so I am pretty tried of playing those same levels all over again. So playing something that is like zelda, only, it isn't actually the same damn game is great.
Everything that made zelda great is in that game, a rip off to be sure, but a damn good one.
Also appearntly being just like the prequal is bad, you know, kind of like how ever sequal game in those times where like! Do i even have to mention megaman?
I know the likelyness of Dave ever reading this is slim to nim, maybe I should message him....
