Nintendo confirmed rumors yesterday that the Zapper peripheral will also come bundled with software called Link's Crossbow Training, which is the "perfect demonstration of the way the Wii Zapper could be used in other games." The software will focus on Link within the world of his latest title on the Wii and GameCube, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, where he must make his way "through a series of tests to perfect his crossbow marksmanship."
Considering that Blastris for the Super Score 6 back on the SNES was all kinds of fun, we can't say we're worried this bundled software won't be.
Confirmed: You'll use the Zapper to help Link train up

It will sell for 19.99, include the link game, and be released on November 19th. I'll be picking mine up. I have not played Resident Evil 4 because I'm waiting for this peripheral.

Depends on how literal the term "Training" is in the title.
If its like a basic tutorial with bullseye targets akin to the early tutorial in TP count me out.
But if its an arcade rail shooter staring Link with the Twilight Princess setting then holy god, count me in.

Problem I've run into so far, using my friend's cheap foreign knock-off zapper, is that games like Metroid and RE4 use the A button (well RE uses A and B, but same diff) instead of the trigger, so its impossible to use along with the nunchuck. Hopefully in the future most Wii games will allow you to flip the WiiMote and Nunchuck buttons to help compensate.

I'll pick this up for Umbrella Chronicles if it works well enough.

Metroid Prime 3 *does* give you the option of switching jump and shoot between A and B. (With plain old wiimote I was surprised to find that mashing A to charge shots and shoot in a fight actually felt more natural than when using B...)
The controls aren't much more mappable than that though.
