- Mario's Super Picross -- SNES -- 900 Wii points
- Neutopia II -- Turbografx -- 600 Wii points
- Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels -- NES -- 600 Wii points
VC Friday: Tons of mega - also, games
Here it is, folks -- the very best thing about the Virtual Console -- games that have never been released in a particular territory debuting after years of neglect. Nintendo has named this explosion of new games the Hanabi Festival, after summer fireworks celebrations in Japan. This first week is all about Mario, so expect a theme when you check out the latest releases on your Virtual Console. Expect more all new (to you) titles over the next few weeks as well!

Correct. This IS the Famicom version on Virtual Console. Super Mario's Picross is also JP-only. The Hanabi Festival for VC involves bringing JP-only games to EU/AU.
Hanabi = Fireworks. It could also be interpreted as "Fire Flower."

I played the hell out of Mario's Picross on GB and I'm now getting addicted to Picross DS. I don't have wi-fi at home yet, so I haven't been able to download the old Picross and Super Picross puzzles yet, but that should be handled next week. Picross rules.

It's true. Hana means flower and bi means fire. Fireworks are basically flaming flower-shapes in the sky.

well let me get this strait. you can buy a picross on vc for $9 or you can buy it on DS for $20 that includes hundreds if not infinite puzzles, and online play and touch screen usage, and english translation.
I heard that this doesn't have english so thats lame.
Mario Lost levels is pretty cool but why $1 more?
