I'm fairly happy with the current lineup. When I first bought the Wii, I had a bunch of the mini-game type games, like Warioware and WiiPlay. They're great for parties, but after a while, I was craving something with more substance. I traded in my Gamecube Zelda game for the Wii one, and that was an adventure in itself. I hate the mirror image, because I have to learn everything all over again.
Anyways, now that I have Metroid, I'm completely happy for a while. With Super Mario Galaxy and Brawl coming out soon (with WIFI PLAY!!), I think I'll be much happier once those are sitting on my shelf.

I have learned that I really don't like single player games that much, even great ones (Zelda), which is why I have played Strikers the most.

Games I own:
- Wii Sports (of course)
- Wii Play
- Resident Evil 4
- Madden '08
- Rayman Raving Rabbids
Games I would like to own:
- The Godfather Blackhand Edition
- Zelda Twilight Princess
- Metroid Prime 3 Corruption
- Mario Strikers Charged
Games I am looking forward to:
- Mercury Meltdown Revolution
- FIFA Soccer '08
- Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbados' Treasure
- Battalion Wars 2
- Endless Ocean
- Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
- Super Mario Galaxy
- Medal of Honor Heroes 2
- Rayman Raving Rabbids 2
- Wii Fit (to all the haters: suck it!)
Not nearly enough time or money to play all of the games that interest me, but "too many games" is hardly a problem to complain about. Note that this doesn't include any classic Virtual Console or GameCube games that I want to try either.
It's great to NOT be a hardcore gamer who needs a new $60 fix (or two) every week... At this rate, I'll be gaming for years just to catch up!
:)

I've listed my collection before so I won't do so now, but let me say this: the Wii lineup has been weak at times, but the ability to play GC games and strong VC games has kept me turning the system on every day. At one point, I was only playing Metroid Prime games, or only SNES games on the VC. Now though I have several Wii games I'm trying to get through before Zack and Wiki, SMG, and SSBB make it to shelves.
I'm not really concerned about an early 2008 drought because I expect to be busy with what I have (plus new VC games) until at least next summer. Plus, I'm not a Wii-exclusive gamer, so I have the 360's megahits to keep me going too.

Games I have:
Wii Sports (obviously)
Super Monkey: Ball Banana Blitz (a so/so game)
Resident Evil 4 (my personal favorite)
Metroid Prime 3 (haven't gotten to play it yet)
Splinter Cell: Double Agent (haven't gotten to play yet)
Cooking Mama (brother's wife's game. don't laugh at me)
Super Paper Mario (lots of fun, but kind of short)
Zelda: Twlight Princess (tons of fun)
Games I want:
Super Smash Bros Brawl (now online!)
Mario Kart Wii (heck yeah!)
Fire Emblem (not sure about this one yet, but looks good)
Super Mario Galaxy
All in all, I think the Wii line-up is getting better instead of worse. Nintedo has proven that it's not just for casual gamers. Now it's up to 3rd party developers to keep that trend alive.
Personally, I like knowing I have a system that can suit my own needs, but other people (non-gamers) won't be put off by it when they come over and decide they want to try it out.
Plus I'll admit I've never had the ability to buy this many games before, but I've still never bought this many games in a console's opening year. I've got 8 for the Wii. My brother only has 3 for his PS3. I expect to have a few more before the end on January.

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Metal Slug Anthology
Sonic and the Secret Rings
Kororinpa: Marble Mania
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz
Wii Play
Wii Sports
Tony Hawks Downhill Jam
Excite Truck
Super Swing Golf
I enjoy every one of these games.
Looking forward to playing Deweys adventure and Zack and Wiki. And of course must have Resident evil: Umbrella Chronicles, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Between the DS and the Wii I don't have enough time to play everything I want.

The Wii lineup is very strong. I think the only people that complain are people that spend a significant amount of time playing video games.
My lineup:
Wii Sports
Wii Play
Warioware
Godfather
Metroid
Strikers
Excite Truck
Red Steel
Call of Duty 3
Resident Evil 4

It's pretty disappointing.
I've only really bought one or two games for the Wii this year.
I learned soon after launch that the games they were releasing for $50 were rarely worth more than $30 and the VC games are rarely worth more than $2. They're not crap, just a bad value.
From what I've seen, the best games (and definitely the best value) are the wiimakes: RE4, Godfather Blackhand, and probably the upcoming Bully. We're probably not going to see any really cool original games for another year or two. Nintendo might come up with a couple that are pretty good but even that remains to be seen. I thought Metroid was going to be killer, but it was just alright. It would've been worth buying if it had any sort of multiplayer. In fact, I can't think of anything I'm REALLY looking forward to either except for maybe Katamari, but I'm not too hopeful that will even be made after all the false rumors about the DS Katamari game.
I haven't even tried the VC.
If my wife wasn't still playing WiiSports (and probably getting mysims this week), I'd ebay this thing until IT has a price cut.

I have:
Zelda - great, but I finished it within a week of launch
The Godfather - the controls really add to this otherwise mediocre game
Dragonball Z: Tenkaichi 2 - a fast, surprisingly fun fighting game
Marvel Ultimate Alliance - I'm a huge of the X-Men Legends/Marvel/Etc series, but I'd trade tacked-on motion controls for better visuals in a heartbeat; this game looked worse than X-Men Legends II on the Gamecube.
Mario Strikers - ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Really wished I would have rented it first.
Metroid Prime 3 - Excellent game. Entirely too short though.

Metroid P3
(All of these Rock!)
I have sold or traded:
Red Steel
Wii Play
(which were both pretty terrible.)
I'm waiting for:
Super Mario Galaxy
Mario Kart
Re: Umbrella Cronicles
I feel that its appropriate to say now that I am more than a little dissapointed with the actual system worked out for VC games. During the run up to launch, Nintendo implied, on several occasions, that all 8bit Nintendo games could be downloaded using the service, but its only been several a week that are typically not very interesting to me. Many other people that I know were under the same impression and have not bought a Wii now because of that. I feel a little cheated, but will get over it eventually... when cooler old school games come out for the VC.

I've been pretty satisfied with the Wii lineup overall. Granted, I don't usually have enough game time on my hands to blow through a 12-hour game in two days, so my mileage may be better than some. Right now I don't have much on my shelf - MP3, Zelda, RE4, WiiPlay, WiiSports - but I've got a whole page of VC games which have kept me pretty busy between those, and I've had several other games which have since been traded in - Red Steel (garbage), Raving Rabbids (eh), Trauma Center (okay), and Excite Truck (YES). Not bad, especially with several must-haves just around the corner.

1) Wii Sports - Definantly worth the price
2) RE4 - Worth it
3) Godfather - Great game. I might be the only one in the world to have beaten this on 3 systems (Wii, PSP, and PS2).
4) Super Paper Mario - Hoped it would be better
5) Legend of Zelda - Flippin' incredible, but no time to beat it.
6) Metroid Prime - Seems great, but i haven't had much time to get into it.
7) Mario Strikers - Lots of fun.
Games to buy in October -
Crash of the Titans
Proving Grounds
Guitar Hero 3
Battallion Wars
Manhunt 2
The Simpsons Game
(I've already told my friends and family to not speak to me for that month)
Games I've Traded
Red Steel
Wii Play
Double Agent
Developers are now finally figuring out how to make good Wii games, and I'm happy about that.

I must say I am somewhat disappointed with the Wii lineup so far. I am pumped though because I know it will turn around. The drought is over.
I currently own:
Wii Sports(of course)
Wii Play(billiards is awesome)
Zelda(was a great game)
Super Paper Mario(my current personal favorite because I'm not a big zelda fan)
Warioware(I love the retro microgames)
Excite Truck(love the game, wish multiplayer was better)
Wish I Owned:
Super Swing Golf(with no mario golf, I have no choice)Big Brain Academy(kind of)
Pokemon Battle Revolution(only because I have Diamond)
Mario Strikers Charged(really want this game)
Madden 08(I'm not sure if I want the Wii version or the Gamecube version)
Metroid Prime 3(gotta try those controls)
Dewy's Adventure(I LOVE 3D platformers)
Have Traded In(a lot):
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz(love the 'cube ones, hated this one, crappy controls)
Rayman Raving Rabbids(good, I beat it)
Madden 07(why keep an old Madden?)
Excite Truck(which I eventually bought back)
Mario Party 8(crappy boards, crappy minigames, why aren't the old ones on the VC?)
The Bigs(not much better than Wii Sports)
Kororinpa: Marble Mania(I liked it a lot, too short)
Am Looking Forward To:
Zach and Wiki(puzzles are good...)
NBA Live 08(I love basketball)
Guitar Hero 3(so glad it's on a nintendo console)
DK Barrel Blast(maybe)
NiGHTS(wish I knew more about it)
SUPER MARIO GALAXY(I can not wait for this game!)
SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL(ONLINE!!!)
Mario Kart Wii(love mario kart)
de Blob(whatever it is)
So as you can see I am looking forward to a lot of games. My biggest complaint so far is about the VC. WHERE ARE THE N64 GAMES??? Come on Nintendo!

I'm kind of disappointed that the Wii seemingly only has a bunch of party/minigames, though hopefully that will change by the end of the year. Other than Wii Sports, here are my current games:
1. Zelda, Very good game (I would give it a 9 out of 10) but for some reason, I don't think I will ever replay it.
2. Rayman, AWFUL, this was so overated (I would give it a 5 out of 10)
3. Mario Party 8, AWFUL, about a dozen minigames were fun. That was it. (4 out of 10)
4. Harry Potter, ok game, ending was fantastic, and the controls were implemented very well and were lots of fun. (8 out of 10)
5. Metroid, haven't finished it (I have been VERY busy) but it's great so far. My only complaint is that the Boss Fights can get a bit frustrating.

Wii Sports: implied ownership, but i still have it. When i'm focused on my DS i'll generally leave it in the slot and play it whenever i have 30 minutes or so.
Zelda: Put in 40 hours, beat it, haven't had the time to go back (OoT is the only Zelda game that i've found to be easily replayable, the others i need to devote a good 3 weeks at least)
Super Paper Mario: i loved this game's unique charm, and when i'm in a defeatist kinda mood i'll try to beat The 2nd Pit of 100 Trials
Sonic and the Secret Rings: incredibly underrated, have patience when you play it, unlock abilities, and you will find a whole world of smooth, speedy controls that rival the Genesis greats
Mario Strikers Charged: Played the hell out of it, but have left it for the time, although occassionally good for some online mayhem
Metroid Prime 3: just beat it, an indulgent experience from start to finish. Not quite as good as 1, but better than 2, and incredibly astounding in its right
This year i shall also get Brawl, Fire Emblem, Galaxy, and NiGHTS 2 (if Sega would settle on a flippin' date, apparently that 08 date was only for Europe. Their north american site is still calling it for Fall of this year with no real date)

I've only had my system for about a month and I don't own any games yet. I've rented a few and I'm hooked on Zelda but most of the tiny selection of games out now are pretty crappy. There are exceptions or course. It seems that the better/great games are still in the pipeline.

4) Resident Evil 4 (best game I have so far for wii)
5) Metroid Prime 3
6) Mario Strikers Charged (eh....I may trade it in)
The only games I haven't liked were Marvel (completely tacked on controls), Mortal Kombat (same, was almost unplayable), Super Paper Mario (too easy, and became boring halfway through so I got rid of it), Trauma Center (give me the DS version anyday). Otherwise I have had fun with just about every game I have tried out.

Between the mr & me:
*Wii Sports
*Trauma Center (very fun, but pretty hard in the later stages)
*Resident Evil 4 (Best. Game. Ever.)
*Super Paper Mario
*Metroid Prime 3
*Zelda Twilight Princess (I haven't started playing this one yet...)
I haven't been playing that much recently, because I've been busy with school (I'm a grad student). I'd love to see more 2-player co-op games, both on the wii and in general.
