Zombie Massacre is barely a glimmer in developer 1988 Games' collective eye. They've got a rocking concept-- you're driving into the center of a zombie-plagued city in a vintage convertible, attempting to drop off a nuclear weapon-- but no game at the time. No engine, no screenshots, just a concept. And controversial German "film director"/pugilist Uwe Boll is already after it.
That's fine, though. It would be impossible to ruin a silly, campy concept like that, even if you are the brains (braaaaains) behind the House of the Dead movie. It lends itself to light-hearted horror/comedy. "I want to make this movie more creepy than House of the Dead, which was intended to be funny and campy," said Boll. "I'd like Zombie Massacre to be a harsh zombie movie like 28 Days Later."
We stand corrected. Apparently it is possible to ruin that concept. The man is a master of what he does.

Uwe Boll won't be able to match a movie as epic as either of the 28 Later movies.
Wasn't BloodRayne and exactly what the world DIDN'T need? A bad movie, based on a bad game...

Damnit, Boll. Give me 2 months to play this game before you ruin it for me. That's all I ask. You can the movie into whatever the hell you want then. Just please, this is the best concept I've heard for a 4-player co-op in years. Don't make us hate it before we can even buy it.

I'm going to see one of Uwe Boll's movies, Postal, tonight at a film fest. We'll see how it goes...there really isn't much story to ruin from the Postal series of games. I've never seen a Boll movie (for good reason) but I'm hoping this is somewhat entertaining!
The only thing I can remember from the first game was the hand-drawn levels and the option of pushing X to commit suicide. And fire-bombing the marching band. Yeah, that was a very, very deep game...

The main photo is so much better than the frustrated Picard pic.

I don't see why has to drag Danny Boyle into the whole thing...I'm still counting myself as lucky for managing to miss Boll at PAX, hopefully he'll crawl back under whatever rock he came from...
