I have this game, it is definitely HOT. I don't have 3 friends with pads so I can't try the crazy Sync play with 4 players. The hand controls are fun and not gimmicky, and the song selection is great. The game is not dumbed down and in fact the computer in the challenge vs mode is insanely hard to beat, even on beginner.

GET THIS GAME!

I've been playing for about 2 hours, I think it's great. The music selection could be better but the whole experience is fun. I like moving my hands to the motion, it feels a little less stiff to me than the Original Dance Dance at the arcade felt when you just had to move your feet.

I had not played any of the earlier versions. I can't believe how uncoordinated I am. My wife laughs at me. She's able to clear song after song, and unlock new tunes, etc. I'm having fun though. And s l o w l y getting better.

dont buy it if u dont play 1 speed. there are no speed modifications and there are no other basic options. the rack is mediocre, but the stepfiles are reeeeally fcking good. they have tons of challenging tracks, its not like universe was for 360. If you could change the speed, this would be the best console ddr.

Part of me wants this game, while another part of me is saying "Meh". I'd have to purchase the game AND find an insert mat for the GameCube/Wii (I loathe the crappy mats that come packaged with the game). Plus, I don't think there are really any truly difficult songs on this version.

A big maybe, but I might get this game later on.

So how exactly does the dance pad work? Does it plug into the wii-mote and go completely wireless? Or do you have to run a cord from the dance pad to the Wii?
