VC Monday Madness: Lost Levels and Sin & Punishment
Today is an exciting day for the Virtual Console, as us living in the states are gifted with a pair of titles that we never expected to get. Sure, the price may be a bit high for these titles when compared to other games released for those systems, but it's not that much to ask for considering they're new to us. Oh, we can't wait until after 9am PST to give these titles a download:

I feel like I'm running along a steamy train platform, waving a hankerchief to say goodbye to my $18 dollars which is currently pulling away from the station.

I'm pretty psyched about the Lost Levels. Hopefully this is a herald of more brand new (to us) content.

I'm also looking forward to downloading Lost Levels. I played it on SMAS for SNES, but of course, Nintendo 'Upgraded' the graphics for that version.

Sin and Punishment?!?! I just came back from Japan last May clutching the original N64 game looking forward to playing it since I heard it was one of the greatest Nintendo 64 games never to grace the US. And I did play it, and it is awesome.
Now I have to buy it again for my Wii! Wow! And to think a couple of weeks ago I was talking about imports and wished this game to come to the US and here it is, it happened!
Here is hoping that Nintendo releases Neon Genesis Evangelion for N64 and then I can finally pack away my Nintendo 64!

I am stoked about this release! Been waiting for this one for what seems like forever. Jeeze, looks like just about every treasure game is making a showing on VC. I'd love to see Mischief Makers (Yuke Yuke Trouble Makers) make it's way to our dear console. I keep holding off on buying any classic mario though, seeing as how they REALLY should release SMB: All Stars (+world ftw!) instead....actually that's really why I am waiting on buying any fighting games, SFA2(probably have to wait for super street fighter to come out first) or UMK3 should be out already. Oh and Magic the Gathering I dunno if it ever saw the light of day, but M:tG (N64 j) would make me happier than a nintendo theme park.

Why would Nintendo release All Stars when they can make you pay for every individual purchase? Frankly I don't ever expect them to release it, so I might as well enjoy the originals.

Can't buy Sin & Punishment (it would distract me from Phantom Hourglass), and i already have The Lost Levels, unlocked with a score of 100,000 plus on Super Mario Bros Deluxe for GBC

@Mr. Khan:
SMB For Super Players (the SMB DX unlockable) is not a true taste of SMB2j.
1) SMB DX only has worlds 1-8. The original has worlds 9, A, B, C, and D in addition. World 9 is only accessable by playing from 1-1 to 8-4 without using a single Warp Zone. A-D were accessed by beating 8-4 eight times (!!).
2) Upgraded graphics. A lot of visuals were altered between SMB and SMB2j. SMB DX has the same graphics for both SMB and SMB FSP.
3) Luigi and Mario play differently in SMB2j.
It is worth downloading this. Trust me.

Never heard of Sin & Punishment before, but I just looked it up and it's produced by Treasure and that's good enough for me.
Oh, wait, it's a 3D game produced by Treasure... well, I guess I'll still get it when I get my Wii back.

I must say I've been interested in this game from the first moment I saw it. I guess I'll try it. 10 Euros should be worth it.

Yo, Axel. Trust me, Sin & Punishment is GREAT. Yeah, 3D and Treasure haven't been that great of a mix (where else have I heard this issue... OH, YEAH. SONICTEAM), but this game doesn't really have 3D gameplay.
If anything, it plays like a scrolling shooter.
You can only make your character (Saki or Airan, depending on where you are in the story) strafe left and right. They automatically run forward, so you don't have full 3D control over them. You jump, as well. And then the Control Stick(s) is used to aim the cursor.
S&P deserves a Wii-make/Wii-quel. Seriously. The controls would work GREAT with this.

Man I wish there were more channel space, I'm like a kid in a candy store, I think I'll put Super Metroid away for a bit and try SMLL, and maybe some Thunderblade.
