Word comes from our overlords at Joystiq that
Guitar Hero III will include plenty more tracks, some from classic bands and some from newer musicians on the block. And we know how much you folks are looking forward to the franchise's first installment on the Wii, so we figured we'd let you know just exactly what these new tracks are. We're nice like that,

This game just keeps getting better and better for me. I just can't wait to get my hands on that plastic guitar! What I'm curious about is how many of those new songs are master tracks and how many are covers.

I will def. be getting this, and it will be great. And I realize the developers dont accommodate everyone's wishes. But I really wish they had Deftones, Tool, or Static-X in that list. I hope we'll be able to make customs for the Wii version without needing a mod chip.

Let's hope Nintendo learns a lesson on music licensing from this.
Better yet, let's just hope Nintendo makes it a point to add international distribution to any contract for the music games they publish in Japan, so we can have American versions of games like Donkey Konga without the bad libraries.
