Today's dojo update reveals another kickass assist trophy. It's none other than those nuts and bolts fanatics from the NES title Excitebike. And here they do what they do best: drive really fast.In summoning up the crew, all of the racers will ride back and foth, running over any enemy of the initial summoner. And, as you can see in the picture including Bowser below, they do quite the considerable amount of damage.
There is also another assist trophy revealed today in Super Mario Bros. franchise enemy Lakitu. And, as you might imagine, he tosses down Spinies left and right, hoping to catch an unsuspecting brawler.

they really must have a lot up their sleeve to keep these daily updates up for over another month. I will be super lost when they are over... they were my reason for not being bummed out when i had to wake up at 7 am every weekday.

As much as I like sprites, I don't see the point of using them here. And if they are, why did they make the Devil assist trophy 3-D? Or Dr. Wright or Knuckle Joe? Hell, there's been a 3-D Lakitu on multiple occasions! Now they're getting lazy and trying to make it look like an homage.

I mentioned in a earlier post that there should be some type of weapon or stage that turned you into a 2D SPRITE. There is no downside to my idea who doesnt like 2d sprites they're NOSTALGICALLY HI-TECHNICAAAAL!!!!!! SPREAD DA DIGIBUTTER, TIPPI 2.0 .

The theory is that the updates will continue well into the games release, until they have covered every item, stage, character, game mode and (hopefully not, because there will probably be about 100+) music.

I personally think this is the best update yet. The Excitebike racers are awesome. I hope that the noises of the race play in the background.
