So let's count the reasons we love this next Medal of Honor. First, if it all works out, EA will be giving us a real chance at online multiplayer in a shooter. Second, the arcade mode sounds nothing short of awesome for anyone who likes on-rails shooters, and it offers a different experience than the more free-form campaign mode -- it's almost like getting two games for the price of one! And finally, even if we aren't the biggest fans of war-based games, it's nice to get something a little different every now and then, especially when it shows this much promise. Don't let us down, EA! Even dedicated Nintendo fans need a little variety. It is, after all, the spice of life.

I can't wait for this game. I never really got into the Metroid franchise once it went 3-D, but with Sega's Ghost Squad coming up soon, then this following it I can't wait to get my Wii-gun-mote going on.
C'mon EA! Don't let the Wii users down and we'll reward you with big sales.

Don't forget the endlessly customizable controls. Don't like the default deadzone? Change it. EA Canada > EA.

It's a shame really, that I will never play a WWII game again, because this looks cool. I was never into them, it was always my brother and now he has lost interest so it looks like Vanguard will be the last WWII game I will own.

This is the most beautiful third-party game I've seen so far. I guess EA were serious when they said they would start working harder on Wii games now.

@ Ralph,
It's important to remember that EA did not develop this game. Their portable studio, EA Canada did. EA snubbed the Wii by not even bothering to consider an Airbourne port.
For EA Canada, the Wii is a step up and a chance to to do some exciting stuff. For EA, it's a demotion and whoever draws the shortest straw is the one who has to work on it. Don't expect that later games coming from EA will have the same quality as this title.

*drools* If this game sucks, I will cry. A lot. I'm pretty iffy about 32 player online, considering that there has got to be lag, but hopefully you can have maybe 10-10 matches, which could be cool. Also, y'know. A MATURE looking game on the Wii? This is madness! Madness? THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!

What's online play without a mic? the reason online play is so successful for xbox 360 is the ability to communicate with a mic.

Oh, yeah, I'm so saddened by the lack of microphone support. How else will I be able to listen to fourteen-year-olds call each other the "n-word" and homophobic epithets?

There are 3 important factors that Nintendo have decided to ignore that will seriously impede the online play
1.No Voice chat
2.No Voice chat
3.No Voice chat
It's not EA's fault without native support for a headset then there is nothing they can do. I doubt that they will decide to include it any time soon, Out of all the consoles in recent memory the wii has by far the most accessories if they were thinking about headset support we would have heard about it long before now.

I can play just fine without voice chat. My guess is that it's mostly kids whining for voice chat over the Wii just so they could call opponents they killed "noobs" and yell "owned" randomly.
I would argue that it's voice chat which makes Live so shitty. Nothing is ever gained because it doesn't add any kind of tactical value and the concept of open voice chat impedes on Nintendo philosophy of child-safe online play.
Face it, we're never going to see voice chat on the Wii and friend codes are here to stay. The faster you can accept this fact then the less you will feel the need to needlessly gripe about it.
The Wii will never be your xbox360 and that's what makes it great.
