Even with all the critical news hitting the press today, Super Mario Galaxy was never in danger of being cast aside. Still, to make sure we wouldn't forget who loves us (and where our money's going this November), Nintendo packed our lunch with new screenshots from its highly anticipated 3D platformer.
We have no idea what is going on in the above screenshot, but whatever it is, it's totally awesome. There's a 2D Mario sprite hopping around, another Mario is flying past a wind-up toy robot, and it all looks like it's taking place in someone's bedroom. Jump past the break for more!

Yes, Brawl delayed until January 2008 for Japan, but given how little sense that makes, i don't really know what they'll do
I mean, look at it, this game is done
However, this game will still only tide me over until Christmas. Then my life will be given to Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, until Brawl, which will be mine until No More Heroes in February

the more is ee of this game the more my gaw hits the ground it loks amazing and we are told it plays perfectly at 30 fps all the time thats amazing!
but if nintendo can do this with the Wii and capcom can pull great looking games out too why oh why can no one else, why do they all produce games that look more at home on the ps2 and in some cases the ps1/n64!!!!

Seriously, game looks awesome, though I'm always worried when a platformer (even a really really innovative one like Galaxy) feels the need to shoehorn in a race level. Worst part of the game, every time I've seen it. Maybe with Mario Kart under their belt, it'll be different this time.
