We're going to have to take a break for this week's European Virtual Console update for a little media bias. Look, it's Castlevania. Some things are just sacred, or near enough to it to require a call to action. Go forth, gamers, and take up Simon's Quest. Vanquish evil. It'll make you feel good about yourself.Oh, there are other games as well, if you're that sort of person, including the first TurboDuo title released.
- Castlevania II: Simon's Quest -- NES -- 500 Wii points
- Gate of Thunder -- TurboDuo -- 800 Wii points
- World Heroes -- NeoGeo -- 900 Wii points

I don't know: I bought Castelvania IV or super castelvania or whatever when it came out on VC, and it didn't make me feel too good about myself...

Castlevania makes me happy. I would love to see an original and new Castlevania game come out for the Wii that would make my year.

Of course I don't mean to question Alisha's judgment since she is the head honcho here and knows way more about CV than I do: I admit I haven't even persevered in the game. I should whip out the ol' Konami code. Anyway, I was a jerk: and I'm very sorry.

After ruining my fond memories of the series by buying Castlevania IV. The only Castlevania game I am getting on the VC is Rondo of Blood (or any new Wii Ware Castlevania that comes out)

What a terrible night for a curse. I'm blah blah lazy blah blah to search for the Angry Video Game Nerd's Simon's Quest review.

Is this only for Europe? I'm a little confused by the first sentence of the post. I looked and didn't see it on the Shop Channel (in the US).
Simon's Quest gets hated on for some reason, but this is the game that I finally bought a NES for way back in the day.
Please advise.
