The source of our glee, you wonder? When asked about a possible sequel to Sin and Punishment, Treasure president Masato Maegawa told Nintendo Power, "When we were originally working on Sin and Punishment [for Virtual Console], there was some discussion utilizing Wii-like controls, and I think now that we're working more with the Wii, it is something we'd very much like to try."
We have just one message for you, Treasure: NOBODY LIKES A TEASE!

I bought this game for the VC, Haven't been able to beat it (got with the stupid cat and its master) and all the time, I kept on telling my bro how great this game would be with Nunchuck+Wiimote.
Please, make it happen.

I wonder if it's possible to patch or update the N64 version currently downloadable. I would think if they re-released the game and allowed those who already purchased it to redownload an updated version, it should work fine.
In other news, could someone bug the Treasure guys to work together with Konami in coming up with a sequel to Axelay? I endlessly bug any Konami or Treasure rep for this anytime I see them. I know the Axelay team left Konami and formed Treasure, so I have a vendetta with both companies to finish their promise of Axelay 2.

Yeah, it's possible for the games to be updated. They did it for Starfox 64. But honestly, I'd prefer a new game released through WiiWare.

I downloaded this game on the recommendation of pretty much every site and I agree, it's incredibly fun and addictive. This game will be a killer app on the Wii. It's a perfect fit.
