For as much as we usually enjoy their coverage, we're left smacking ourselves in the head and yelling "duh!" to ourselves regarding this top five list of supposed overlooked games. They're titles we've very much conveyed our excitement over in the past, so we're wondering why they're so late to the party on this one. After checking out their list, hit up our poll below and let us know which one you think is the best of the best. And, after that, leave a comment letting us know of an upcoming title that is a must-have that isn't on the list.
Awfully demanding, aren't we?

Even though I'm buying both MoH:H2 and Trauma Center, I am looking forward more to Trauma Center.

BWii!
Online and LAN play. Co-op and competitive play. Maybe we'll see online leaderboards?
I'm thinking/hoping that this one will be a surpise multi-player hit. The first must have for LAN-party Wii-ing.

None.
But if I was forced at gunpoint to buy one of them, it would probably be Heroes 2.

Agreed with #6 how is Manhunt 2 a low profile game. Also BWii should be a must have for any fan of over the shoulder shooters. The MOHH2 sounds like the online mode will be good but I am so skeptical about all the motion controls with the weapons.

I doubt too many people make room for Zdub on their Christmas list, but for the long term, it's deserving of fame and fortune.

I wouldn't buy any of those games for more than $20. Now, Zack and Wiki, on the other hand, deserves to be bought by everybody and his grandmother!

Trauma Center is the only one on that list I'm interested in. Maybe NiGHTS but I never played the original so I don't know what it's like. And I think I have to go with the others and say BWii belongs on that list more than some that are there. And also No More Heroes.

Have to go for option F - None of the Above. If I were forced to choose one of them, it would be Mario/Sonic, but I'm just not enthused about any of those choices.

"None of the Above" for me as well, please.
I don't think you could pick five games I'd like to play less. Oh, wait... There's no Naruto game up there. That one would be worse.

I agree that none of these games are exactly "overlooked games." I mean, Manhunt 2 was all over the news and, if Sega is to be believed, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics should have already sold like 17 million copies.
While none of those are exactly must-have titles for me, I went with Medal of Honor. I am one of the few who really enjoyed Call of Duty 3 on the Wii. Although it certainly had flaws, it was a fun reinvention of the WWII genre with motion controls. With the new Medal of Honor, we get the classic gameplay along with an arcade mode, which will add a little variety. Plus, they are one of the first companies making an effort to bring decent online play to the Wii. If IGN is to be believed at all (and, to be fair, they were right about Zack and Wiki). they said it plays amazingly. So hopefully it does a good job of bringing a more solid first person shooter to the Wii.

I'm interested in NiGHTS but that's about it. Mario and Sonic I'll rent but never buy. BWii should definately be more popular. Geometry Wars looks fun (and has a most amusing history). Is Mario Kart low profile? I haven't seen much about it, ut that could just be because it's quite a ways off.

Well I am planning on getting MOH2. I crave some good online play from the comfort of my living room. It does seem that they left out some big titles....SSBB, Mario Galaxy.....Hannah Montana...well, maybe not that last one.
I figured I would just pick up Mario Galaxy at a later date. I feel the need for some head shots...even if it is only me getting pwned. heh

"Nights" screams "rush job" to me. I may be wrong, but I'll bet you this title is being madly rushed out the door for holiday sales. Let's not go overboard describing this as a must have before the reviews go up.

NiGHTS. It's all about NiGHTS
@ MCX, people would assume rush job becuase of the 1-week pre-christmas release date, but this game's actually got some features under its hood (online multiplayer and what essentially amounts to Online Chao Garden, for those who recall those from Sonic Adventures), as well as some amazing graphics (much improvement over the mediocre screens we started seeing at E3)
Plus its beautifully colorful, which automatically puts it (stylistically at least) ahead of most everything on the market ;)

Out of those five? Medal of Honor without a doubt. In fact, I'm surprised so many people have gone with the nonexistant "none" option because, to be blunt, Medal of Honor is going to be one of the first serious online games for the Wii. This pleases me greatly because hopefully it's a revelation of things to come.
Now, to add my own, I would say Battalion Wars II and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. Both are looking extremely good and BWII even has online multiplayer! Now, I would say Guitar Hero III and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but one comes out tomorrow and the other isn't out until February, so I kinda left them out of the process.

I agree with #'s 25 and 26. Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. I see a lot of news on this site, and Joystiq, and I've yet to see one of the very first RPG's on the Wii get anything close to a MENTION. For all our complaining about how we want "hardcore games," we seem to all overlook the next 40+ Hour long entry into one of the first SRPG's ever created.
Roughly 40 Chapters(battles), over 60 playable characters, three alternating main characters, at least three difficulty levels(I haven't heard of Maniac has been taken out of the US release, but if it isn't, then we should have one HELL of a difficult trip, judging from FE9's Maniac Mode). This game really doesn't deserve to be overlooked by as many Americans as it is. Espescially since it's been around almost as long as everyone's "precious" Final Fantasy.
