In these latest screens of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Little King and the Promised Land, we can begin to see some hints of gameplay. Like King Story, the game involves building up a town using earned crystals. The crystals allow you to build different kinds of structures, like residences or weapon shops, that can increase different attributes of the town.
There are dungeons, but because young King Leo is too little a king for fighting, you choose parties of adventurers to explore them. It is unlikely that you as the player take part in this dungeon exploration, instead receiving treasure on a scale based on the attributes of the party.
It sounds like people expecting an action RPG like the first Crystal Chronicles game may be in for a disappointment when the game launches in March; however, if you're looking for something on the order of MySims with a coat of Final Fantasy paint, this might be worth your time. If it takes a Crystal Chronicles-style, uncomplicated approach to resource management and town-building, we may be up for it.

This seems to be a fairly large game for a download are we sure they're not releasing a hard drive or letting us download to the SD card?
But space issues aside My Sims Crystal Chronicle Edition seem awesome!

Why in pluperfect hell would you not release a Wii hard-drive? I really don't see this being under 512mb.

My prediction: it will clock in at ~100MB. People will bitch; they will demand a hard drive, or demand to run it from an SD card (or quite probably both). Nintendo will remain exactly as deaf to consumer demand as they have been for roughly ever. People will learn to cope; they will show up on fan sites like this to gripe, but they'll manage. Maybe it will hurt sales, maybe not. In a few months, everybody will have totally forgotten about this issue, or maybe they'll keep griping, but it won't be news.

that's why i'm worried: either this game will be extremely short, or it will take up so much memory that you'd have to remove some of your WII saved files!
WTF!
Oh and where is FFCC: the crystal bearers?

So, I think we can all agree that wiiguy101ukallright is pretty annoying, right? =)
I don't think anyone has complained that the Wii needs more RAM...just that it needs more HD space, which it does.
Oh noes! Now wiiguy101ukallright is gonna hunt me down and "CLICK LIKE A GOON IN A EPOSODE OF SOPRANOS". I'm so scared! ^_^

If I remember correctly RE2 on the N64 had most if not all the FMV removed to fit on the cart.

loud and irritating as he is, wiiguy has it about right
Certainly it looks like an abomination for Wii HD space, but Nintendo IS famous for being able to work around their own idiocy when it comes to space limitations, they got N64 games and GC games to match the(in-game) size of the competition's
But i still say Nintendo has to see the need for more memory (or simply more memory access) eventually, contrary to what James said, they are not deaf, just incredibly hard of hearing
Launch a massive (and i mean massive, mainstream web media) campaign, and they would hear, in the meantime, keep working around it
