And I have it preordered at Gamestop to recieve that coin...

It looks like I'll have to cancel that to buy this. If you paid in cash at Gamestop for a preorder, could you cancel it and get your money back? I've read you can move it to another preorder, but I kind of just want my money back.

If not, I'll just try to move it to Orcs and Elved DS. That stylus looks pretty cool.

I'd recommend getting SMG, walking out, and returning with your GC for Zack and Wiki. Both for ~$65 is a great deal.

on the first day of the release of this game, will there be a high chance of smg to be sold out at the store? also, is this deal ONLY on the day it comes out?

I wonder if there is a limit on how many gift cards you can get if you buy multiple copies. If not I would so buy 4 copies and use the 100$ gift card money to get guitar hero 3 then sell the extra three copies online

I preordered at Target cause of the coin thing. I didn't know Gamestop was doing that, too. Oh well, I also got a holographic SMG card. But Target says their release date is the 14th. Something's wrong with them.

ive had this preordered at Game Crazy for forever. lol looks like i'll be moving that preorder again. that same $5 has been moved from Heavenly Sword to Warhawk to Super Mario Galaxy to probably Super Smash Bros Brawl for the time being at least. it seems like every time i preorder there, i find a better deal somewhere else...maybe somebody is trying to tell me something.

oh and with TRU, do they actually get the game on it's release day or the day after like most stores? because i remember getting my Wii on the actual release day from there. i ask because i'll probably cut my first class to get it and i don't want to cut class for nothing lol.

Here's a thought, Buy SMG from Toys R Us, and then(with the GC), pick up BW2 or MOH:H2 or Fire Emblem for about $25!!! Hmmm sounds good to me!
Or pick up Dementium Ward for about $5.

I as well reserved it at Target. I didn't know about this, but I don't really care. My mom would get all mad at me for cancelling another preorder to get a game at Toy RUs (Phantom Hourlgass, free strategy guide. Too good to resist!) But seriously...Do you think they'll be able to keep enough copies on the shelf to get one easily with this deal going on? I doubt it.

TRU is awesome like that. Went in to get my son something and saw the sign a month ago for a $20 gc with a DS purchase. Mine had been stolen, so this was the perfect bait to get me to replace it. That combined with the buy 2 get 1 free on all games made it a no brainer to get the DS and 3 games(Phantom Hourglass, Brain Age 1 and 2 for) $165. Can't really beat getting 3 games for $30.

Can't wait to get this!!!!!

Has anyone called their Toys R Us and verified this? My friend asked them about this, and they said they've never heard about it, but they also mentioned they know nothing of the current deals until the week of.

Pre-ordered in-store on 11/09 at local TRU. Picked up my copy to-day with commemorative coin and the $25 gift card !!! And the kicker, they also had an unadvertised promo for a free Wiimote glove ($9.99 value) !!! - Can't ask for more. TRU rocks !!!

Samething...they didn't get their shipment and they said that they would not do the $25 giftcard on any other day...I was starting to think that it might have been a ploy to get customers in there....but I guess there were actually some people who got it according to forums. I have heard that they are going to do a buy two get one free on wii games next week so I can't be to mad at them... also they had a similar special with all games earlier and I got LOZ: Phantom hourglass for free so no hard feelings...

Well, I'm glad someone had good luck. As for me, I ordered my game a couple of weeks ago or so, then I went by the local tru at lunch (around 2pm) and they had a sign that said that the shipment will be there at 5pm. I called at 4:30 to confirm and they did. When I got there, they said that they were expecting their shippment around 4 and it didn't come so they don't know when they are going to be getting it, although they won't be giving out the $25 credit on any other day than today. Oh, and they won't let you pay for the game today. Fuckers...

I preorderd this game from toys r us on monday (11th nov) and then went and picked it up yesterday (12th) and had no problems. They were sold out of it for people who didnt preorder it, but heck i didnt arrive until 7pm! i got my giftcard and coin and was happy! i also heard the dude talking to the women who was wondering when she can get a copy and he said the giftcard deal goes on until saturday..at least at that tru..anyways awesome deal! glad i preordered it the day before they got it!
