Today, the dojo reveals a new Adventure Mode in Fox's Misfortune. Based on the video above, it looks like Fox crashes his Arwing and finds Diddy in trouble with some long, snake-like creature. Of course, being the hero he is, Fox saves Diddy and, we assume, embarks on a quest to do some more good. Honestly, the trailer is great and all, but we have no idea what this mode will consist of.

I hope you're kiddin' on the "snake-like creature" comment, because thats Rayquaza.
And although I might be wrong, I'm willing to bet he's one of the Adventure-Mode bosses. Along with Petey Pirhanna and other non-playable Stage Bosses.
To which I say. Bring on the Brawl!

I love these cutscenes from the Subspace Emissary's. How imminently hardcore is that? I do look forward to playing through this mode more than the part of the game where people are like fighting.

Oh, and for those of you who don't know who Rayquaza is. Its one of the legendary Pokemon from Ruby/Sapphire, and is the "leading" legend of Pokemon Emerald.
Basically, he's a Pokemon bad-ass.

I feel really stupid now: Who is Rayquaza? What franchise? Is that a fox thing or something else?

Once again my timing is awful, I take too long to type, and will no permanently look like a dumbass. Well that's the kind of cross polination between franchises that has me PUMPED about this game!

Seriously, could this game look any better? All of the game modes, all of the new characters, stage creator and the ability to download new stages, and graphics that actually use the Wii's capabilities!

Yeah, that is pretty wild, and just the sort of crossover mayhem i've wanted in Smash Bros since day 1
Rayquaza shoots Fox down, Diddy Kong comes to inspect, gets captured by Rayquaza, Fox saves Diddy Kong
Genius

...can it?

@kirby,
Last I knew, Nintendo didn't use any pre-rendered models in their cut scenes... meaning those are the in-game models and graphics.

The Pokemon nerd in me thinks it's really cool that Rayquaza's roar is apparently the same roar used in the Destiny Deoxys movie, or at least made to sound like it.
But the Pokemon nerd in me also has to ask... What's Rayquaza doing in that lake? Rayquaza's habitat is supposed to be the ozone layer.
Then the Pokemon nerd in me rationalized that maybe Fox tried to enter the atmosphere from orbit, but this entrance made Rayquaza feel threatened (like in the Destiny Deoxys movie), so they fought somewhere up in the sky, and Fox crashed on the shore while Rayquaza crashed into that lake.

Orange soda, you just made my day, and boy has it been a long day. :) Is that by chance a reference to Keenan Kel?
Back on topic, that would bode well if that wasn't prerendered, really shows what power the wii really has. If not, then it certainly is cool. This game is shaping up to be awesome. I can't wait to see what else is released at the Dojo about this game. So many good games, so little time.

I hear that a lot. The answer is no. I hope that didn't ruin your day.
Anyway, it's in-game. You can see the geometry during the extreme close-ups on Rayquaza's eyes.

Please tell me you guys who wrote this are kidding.
That lizard thing is Rayquaza.
This is Subspace Emissary, not a new adventure mode.
God, you guys are stupid sometimes.
(And Rayquaza rocks >>)

That didn't ruin my day. I was just intrigued by the analysis of the scene. That's actually pretty logical and well thought out.
I can't wait to actually play this game.
