Nintendo Wii Fanboy

I like to take my time, so I only collect a few stars every time I sit down with it. It took me 6 months of on-again-off-again play to beat TP. SMG will be shorter, but I'm only 18 stars in right now, after maybe 5 hours.

52, I've been playing with my wife and we've been enjoying it. We're trying to finish as much of it as we can before we get the urge to run off to finish the game.

I hit every galaxy in order and then go back to do the comet runs and whatnot. I have 61 stars and have just opened the engine room.

i'm taking my time, i got the game at launch, i played about 5 or 6 hours, on and off, and i got about 26 stars

I'm up to 93 as of this morning. It seems to be getting more challenging as I advance to the later levels. I found a couple of the green star trial galaxies to be incredibly hard until I realized that I just needed to slow down. The hardest thing other than those was the ghost ship daredevil run, which I managed to get through this morning.

Uh,I don't rush, plus I have BWii taking up some Wii Time, so I only have like 25 stars right now. Still...GREATEST...GAME...EVER.

Watch the spoilers #1...not cool. But I'm at around 63 stars. Decided to beat Bowser though, even though I am going to go play the rest of the stars soon.

As for Luigi, i'll probably still beat Bowser first, then get the other 60, then Luigi

I got it at launch, My Girlfriend and I have sepperate games running, but I play more than she does. She has like 13 stars and I have 50 or 51, I can't remember. I think I'm gonna hold off beating bowser until I have all of them, which means it could be a while, because some of those comets are tough.

I can't believe that it is actually better than I imagined, and I had really high expectations for this game.

I've gotten 120 stars with Mario, and 87 with Luigi. I haven't even turned my Wii off since I got it on Thursday.

i got like 65. i beat bowser. i still wanna go back and get more. the replay value of this game is very high. i'm glad trying to get all the stars is challenging. i like the comet idea cause it makes the same level seem different

good to see other people are taking their time as well...I have 17 or 18 stars, but am taking my time as it's just good fun and probably one of the best games I've played in a while...

I've had mine for a week or so now, got lucky and got a advance copy. I have 54 stars right now and i have to say, BEST GAME EVER!!!! This brings my wii back to life, no game has been able to keep me playing a hour and a half a night on the wii until this one, This IS why i bought my wii at launch! I have to say GREAT job to the big ninty and all of our favorite plumber Mario Mario!

I got the game the day after launch, (damn Gamestop...), but I've been taking my time...I only have something like 45-50, I can't remember. I plan on trying to get all of the stars before moving on to the final Bowser fight, (if that's even possible...I'm not sure if I'll need to beat him before moving on).

Zero, due to a broken Wii. Galaxy just sits there in its shrinkwrap (got it straight out of the shipping box at Gamestop, before they had a chance to unwrap it) taunting me as we play Katamari Damacy and Beyond Good and Evil. Counting the days till they ship it back to me, and trying to avoid spoilers for the first time in my life.... could the timing have been any worse?

I'm currently at 60 and will attempt to beat the final bowser. I have to admit, at first I thought the levels were way too easy. But as you progress, especially in the final level, they are much more difficult. All in all, a supreme blast to play with tons of replay value with 120 stars to collect!!

I am at 19 stars...and I am LOVING EVERY MINUTE! I just can't wipe the goofy grin off my face. So cute...so clever...such great design...such great music. What more could any gamer want?

Hopefully I will get a little time later this afternoon to get a few more.

I think I'm at 40 stars. I only picked it up yesterday afternoon after taking advantage of a Best Buy deal. After months of using my Wii primarily as a Gamecube, I am remembering the annoyance of having to change batteries as I play for hours at a time.

I'm at 53. I haven't had this much fun playing in years. The score just elevates the entire game to a new level of quality and the levels themselves are all so creative and fun. Starting to get challenging though, especially when some of the comets are in orbit.

I'm around 56, I think. I've been playing since launch day, and it's funny... I said, "Oh, this is pretty good, but it's not my favorite game. There's other stuff I might rather be playing... after one more star. I mean, one more after this one. No, one more after this..." and then it's 2 AM. The game is unbelievably addictive.

85 ATM. I was disappointed with the low difficulty, though i plan to get all the stars and coins anyways. It seems like they baby you, telling you exactly where to go. There are no puzzles, no figuring out what to do. There are no expansive levels like mario 64; it's all so linear. but still i'm not playing any other games! there must be some sort of subliminal mind control in the game that keeps us playing... oh and ghaddar, you can't save bowser for last like we so desire. beating him unlocks new comet stars. btw has anyone got 120 power stars with luigi yet?

4 Stars. I don't mind the camera readjusting on these early levels, but man, control while upside down or on really small planets is a drag. Might just be early levels talking, but it sure seems quite linear so far.

I'm not blown away by the graphics, but the music is well done.

oh yeah, john, i almost forgot about the uncooperative camera "system", if you can call it that. i have never been so annoyed by a third person POV in any game EVER. what was wrong with mario 64's camera? (answer: nothing.) all they would have to add is the ability to hold c and twist the wiimote to twist the camera orientation. oh and i said above one can't save bowser for last because of the "purple" comets, but maybe it's beating the first 100-coin challenge that unlocks that... idk.

I'm at 43 right now and trying to get as many as possible before beating the game. I'm having a hard time with the Daredevil stars, especially Boudlergeist and that stupid mole, but I finally beat him just now.

just made it to 100! i've been saving bowser to the end, but i can't find any more :( so i guess i'll do that next. then 15 100-coin stars. i wonder where the other 4 stars are...?

i got smg on wednesday and i try to get all the stars i can in each galaxy and done the comet runs and so far i have 62 stars and not stopping till i get 120 to beat bowser.

104 is the max before beating bowze, i believe. i've got 4 stars with luigi so far. to make it more challenging this time, i'm collecting every coin possible, which will make some levels dastardly difficult!

i have 80 stars right now and i dont plan on beating bowser until i get all 120 stars and then beat him :).i guess i would play with luigi after tht...
