After only about a month of availability, Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast has had $20 knocked off its price. But it's not because it's a horrible failure or something -- it's just Amazon's Deal of the Day! It's not often that first-party stuff gets discounted so soon, even just for a day. If you're looking for a Donkey Kong-themed racing game on the Wii involving bongo-barrel-shaped jetpacks, then this is probably the game for you, as it's the only game that description fits. For now. With the extra money, you can go buy a couple of bongo controllers ... and ... not use them with the game!

This game was meant for the bongos. They seriously should have included them as an option. I still play jungle beat on the Wii and my toddler loves to beat the drums and clap to make donkey kong move.

It is a horrible failure based on the reviews. Do yourself a favor and wait for Mario Kart instead.

I agree this game looked terrible! You move by hitting the bongos and you can't even use bongo controls? Idiots! Just another stupid waggle your wiimote and nunchuck like a spaz game. Maybe $10...Maybe

I love Nintendo, and buy most of thier first party games. I absolutly refuse to buy this one because Nintendo removed the ability to use the DK bongos. This game was designed for them, and as Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat showed us, you can really do somthing big, innovative, and well with very little(ie. the Bongos).
