Get used to it
Nothing to look forward to between now and Brawl except NiGHTS 2
Then a new stream of good games begins

You're kidding right? There's enough releases in just the past 3 weeks to last me thru the entire first half of next year. Do you people (Wii Fanboy employees excluded) do anything other than play games all day??? Geezus!
I'm lucky to get any gaming in over the weekdays....I miss my youth :(

I'm the last person who can complain, i'm backed up on Galaxy (its a race to 120, so i have a few days to fart around with Luigi afterwards), then on to Radiant Dawn, playing bits of Wrecking Crew (so addictive) all the while
But i stand by the fact that sans NiGHTS 2 (and UT3 for PS3 owners) the period does look bleak for buyers

I would have Assassin's Creed right now if the 360 didn't decide to die. I told my brother not to get a 360, but...

Ah yes, November. The best week of the year, IMHO.

I always though November was a month. How foolish of me.

Um, I don't think you know what you're talking about. November is totally a week. It was one of my favorite weeks back in the month of 2004.

If I didn't already own Puzzle Quest on the DS and the Xbox 360, I'd consider it for the Wii.

At $30, Puzzle Quest has landed on my holiday wish list. It's an interesting game that I don't have on another platform. But I agree that there's not much in the pipelines between now and Brawl.

Don't get anything.
From here till Brawl, the only good games left are:
Geometry Wars: Galaxies
NiGHTS
and uhh... more Wii points?
They have to send out Smash Bros N64 before Brawl comes out... it'll be my first VC game :D. Expect the price to skyrocket (about, 1,500 Wii Points?).
Also, you'll need the Wii points to give VC games for Christmas, Hanukkah, and Eid (Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, respectively for each religion you follow). BTW, when is Hanukkah?

Game Party looks fun enough for $20... I'm so bored playing WiiPlay with the wife... maybe I can get her into Puzzle Quest too.
And Vegas Stakes on the VD this week might be a fun little diversion...

Man that sucks....thankfully my chicks just as much a gamer as me. How much? She's cleared every Zelda to date (minus the ones we do not speak of, naturally).

I like how you did that Hinkster: 'Anyone planning on picking up Puzzle Quest (or one of the shitty other games) this week?' with the parenthetical part merely implied.

I already pre-ordered Game Party, thinking about History Channel thought, might end up getting 360 version.

glad to see i'm not the only one that pre-ordered Game Party(only $19 at amazon, maybe less if price drops before shipping). passed on the $40 Carnival Games so i figured this $19 similarly-themed budget title will do.
Puzzle Quest is also a possibilty. and for fun, that's free, i intend to read reviews for Cruis'n.

I hope to be getting Puzzle Quest, since I don't have a DS. I've been hooked since they released the demo for the PC months ago.

I always loved Cruis'n in arcades. It's a shame they couldn't bother to make a real Wii game.

Puzzle Quest is on my Wish List too, but I'm mostly interested in seeing how Cranium Kabooki is turning out. There's every chance it could blow big time, but I'm hopeful it turns into a good party game - plain ol' vanilla Cranium always seems to do it around my place, and I'd love another game to get the wife to game with me.
Anyone seen any reviews on this yet? Impressions of the final product?

Chanukah's December 5th, I think. I'm counting on some big Christmastime or New Years releases for VC to tide me over through February for Brawl, although I have an eye on Soul Calibur Legends which I think is out but I haven't picked up yet, as it's firmly in the "wait and see" list.

Wow, I haven't even thought of any of the games on that list. Galaxy, MP:3, Brawl and Mario Kart are the only games on my list at the moment...

Wow, Cruisin does look exactly like FnF. Sad. Midway couldnt be counted on after I picked up the last MK game. Worst sound Ive ever heard in a game. So, this isnt too much a surprise coming from them. Puzzle Quest, with no doubt. I didnt get it on the DS, and Im sure my gf will enjoy it as much as Mario Galaxy. Game Party...looks like the Carnival game to me. Pass. History Channel: Battle for the Pacific, maybe. Cranium Kabookii......possibly. for no good reason really.

I'm waiting for Puzzle quest reviews to see how it contorls. If you can play by aiming the Wiimote then i'll buy, but if it's a nunchuck game where you fiddle with the joystick for selection then i'll go out and find it on DS.
