What do you need to do? Well, first you have to read the rules. Then, leave a comment (multiple comments will get you disqualified, so only one entry please) here telling us your favorite NES game that utilized the Nintendo Zapper (you can find a list of compatible games here). Then, you have to make sure your comment is in before December 3rd, 2007 at 11:59PM EST. Finally, all you need to do is sit back and relax. The winner will be announced on Tuesday and chosen via random drawing. The lucky winner will receive one Wii Zapper ($25) and one copy of Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles ($50).
Best of luck to you all and thanks for reading Wii Fanboy!

Sure, most people are saying Duck Hunt, because it is iconic, but for me it was Operation Wolf. I still remember arcade versions with a mounted, heavy steel machine gun, one of the first with a kind of force feedback, and a strong realistic sound of gunfire to boot.

There were other zapper games then Duck Hunt? Your kidding me right? I spent hours upon hours playing that game, well after a few weeks a lot of time was spent blowing on the cartridge and inside the nintendo, trying to clean the contacts with alcohol, or using whatever I could find to wedge above the cartridge to get it to work.

Well by far duck hunt, but let's be clear, I liked shooting the clay pigeons more than the ducks.
I always felt bad for the ducks!

Operation Wolf! I vividly remember the first time I played it in the arcade and being shocked that the gun actually vibrated. When it came out for the NES I had to have it, and it didn't disappoint.
