This week, the PAL Virtual Console picks up the action theme of last week and runs with it. Up on the block this Friday is Neo Geo shoot-me-do Top Hunter: Roddy & Cathy, a beautifully drawn SNK shooter that preceded genre classic Metal Slug.Mega Man 2 from the NES will be the highlight for many of you, however, with 500 Wii points a terribly small price to pay for what is arguably the series' finest moment to date. Even without the completely rad boxart.

MM2 was instant love for me
After I played this for the first time at my neighbor's house I was so excited that I had to draw stage maps in order to calm down and fight the frustatrtion that this game wasn't in my possession.

Off the top of my head, I believe the original Mega Man was released in PAL regions around June/July.

Megaman 3 was better than Megaman 2. More bosses, better music, and tighter gameplay.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure the US isn't getting the Megaman games yet because of the Megaman Anniversary Collection on GC(And PS2 and Xbox) that never got released in Europe.

No sense in releasing the MM games here in NA with the said pack-in games, and those that say, "But it sucks on the GC." I laugh at thee weaklings, ala I never had a problem using the switched button layout. :P
