We understand that what is good and isn't good can be different from person to person, but if you enjoyed any of the Resident Evil movies, then shame on you. Sorry for being so tough, but those movies were bad. And, being the huge Resident Evil fans we are, we're finally glad to see that the wonderful universe these games are set in is being expanded through a CG movie. Sure, it's kind of biting off of Square Enix's style a bit, but who cares?! We're talking about Claire and Leon kicking zombie ass. We could only be more excited if this were a trailer for a new game.
Resident Evil: Degeneration looks like a good Resident Evil movie

Of course, though, that live action Mario movie from the 90s knox teh sox off this baby.
Eh, I MAY watch it. That is, only if I'm as bored as I have been recently....

I think we can all appreciate the opinion of someone who's basing their entire judgment of a film off of a minute-long teaser, which has no plot exposition or dialog. And someone who posts a comment on every post of every day. Job anyone?
This movie looks like it could be pretty rock awesome. RE4 was my favorite of the series and I'm pleased to see Leon back in action.

As a big fan of zombie movies, I will say that I think the subgenre could benefit from some high-quality CGI movies. There's so many effects that are just so hard to pull off in real life, even with CGI added. I just hope they take advantage of the opportunity and make some truly gruesome looking zombies. Colour me interested.

Looks good but Zombie movies are done best with a cheap budget. ;)
This could be THE Resident Evil we were expecting the movies to be like. Let's hope so because the movies stink. the only think I liked outof the three was nemesis saying,"STAAARRSS". :p I'm a Nemesis-Head.

:P I liked the RE movies! They were fun, scary in the "who's infected paranaoia/things jumping out at you/swarms of flesh-eating zombies" way, and just serious enough. Just like the games.

I would have to agree with you there.
They're being a bit harsh there. I kind of liked the Resident Evil movies (though I haven't seen the last) as the fun variety action/horror movie. The zombie genre has been done to death (yea that pun was intended) and RE revived it a bit. Of course they're only average zombie movies but as video game movies, they're relative masterpieces.
