I haven't really been watching TV lately unless it's college football. But, on a semi-related note, our football team will be getting Wii's (that's right, all 160 players) for winning the conference championship. That is, as soon as they can find them.

Which one of the two colleges are you talking about? LSU or the "other guys"? I'm at LSU.

For 160 Wii's you'd need to contact a distributer or Nintendo themselves and figure it out that way.

Cavemen. One of the guys went on a spending spree and got one, though in a later episode he was addicted to Halo 3.
I know I've seen others, too.

In Britain a comedian did a parody of the Wii and its adverts on his sketch show. He didn't mention it by name, but the controller (a motion-sensing white remote) was clearly the Wii's. Each sketch was for a different game that had some really lame and tedious action (like a game about chopping carrots) that you acted out with the Wii-mote, but with the actors pretending like it was the most amazing and exciting thing in the world.
Tragically I felt the sketches hit the nail right on the head with a lot of Wii games and Nintendo's marketing of them.....

They were playing Wii Tennis on Weeds, but it seemed overdubbed with old Atari sound effects.

One of my favorite shows: Showtime's Weeds started off with everyone (not just the kids) playing DS.
This season I noticed they got a Wii only because they had to show it in about a half dozen episodes. I can only conclude that Showtime regularly gets paid product placement bucks from Nintendo. You never see other game consoles on it.
Thankfully they wont be changing the name of the show to Wiids.

Just the other day there was a Wal-mart buyer's guide on TV. It featured a group of culturally diverse moms casually rattling off the top holiday gifts this season.
The whole thing was really disturbing, especially part about the Wii.

Reaper the new CW show about a kid whose soul was sold to the devil, so now he's the Devil's bounty hunter catching escaped souls from hell. Him and his friends were playing some shooter. I don't think it was a real game though.
Also my web comic has a lot of cool references: http://touristtrapusa.blogspot.com/

Saw it on "2 and a Half Men", "It's always sunny in Philidelphia" and that's all I can remember off the top of my head. I work at AMD and we have 3 Lunch Rooms and all of them have Wii Kiosk in them.

It was also on an episode of CBS's Cane. You know, "Sugar is the new oil." I don't know which episode. I just remember my dad telling me to come in and look at the TV because Jimmy Smits was playing it, I think.

It was on How I Met Your Mother a few weeks back. Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Marshall (Jason Segel) forgo a night at the bar to finish what they dubbed 'Wimbeldon'. At one point Marshall removes his pants, because it lets him move easier during the match.
While there is some exaggerated motions during the game of Wii tennis, it is no more than you might see in your non-gamer friends and family. I give the show some gamer props, however, as they did not forget to include the Wii sensor bar above the television, cord and all.
