It's hard for us to clear our minds after watching this trailer, and have any thoughts beyond our initial reactions of drooling all over ourselves. But, we will try, if only for you, dear reader.
You may remember the Subspace Emissary update in August, introducing a side-scrolling action game to flesh out Brawl's single player experience. Today's update is nothing but a preview for it, but oh, what a preview it is. If you weren't excited for the game's adventure mode before, you will be now.
We don't need to hype it up for you, though; the video speaks for itself. So watch, enjoy, and try to keep your "do wants!" to two-inch voices.

Something tells me that even with the 50 or so more updates they have coming, they're going to be hiding a lot of stuff from us to be found out later. So, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

A needlessly impressive trailer, I always like to see more videos of Brawl. :)
We've needed a trailer in a long time, sure, not much new info but dayum that's some fantastic presentation.

I hate trailers. For games or movies. It looked sweet, but... I just want a demo of the game. Only reason I check daily is because I'd rather be in the loop everyone else is. But just send us a demo and stop updating. That'll be fine.

It reminds me of Kingdom Hearts. But I must remember, this won't be as good as a Square Enix game..

You're right, it'll be way better! Square-Enix makes some great RPGs, no doubt about that but nothing can approach the shear awesomeness and replayability of Smash Bros games. People still play Melee, and Brawl is only two months away from taking over the world. If there was only one Wii game ever made by anyone, and that was Brawl, it would be enough to last the Wii's lifespan. Honestly, I'm slightly afraid that Brawl will kill the Wii's attach rate (if it isn't bad enough already) because if you've got a handful of dedicated friends who enjoy Brawl as much as you do, you won't need another game ever.
Sorry about that, just had to get my feelings about Brawl out. And to think we could have been playing it right now, instead of talking about how great it's going to be.

........ er.... no. Don't get smash, please.
Everyone praises Square Enix as a god, but their games are more or less the same than the last one.
Trust me, I've played all of their games, from first to last. The epic ones were actually older than FF7 (of course, then, it was squaresoft... and before that, square)... FF7 and up were actually copies of RPGs put together and made to look flashy.
Only real different one? FFX. Very impressive. Don't count chocobo games though, those are just adorable.
... but please, don't get Smash, you'll do us all a favor if you just stick to your "must save the world again... in sequence... and in timed attack and story" and don't touch games that actually is faster-paced and actually improve heavily from their last game... and in the end, excercise the mind more than fanfiction stories.
Sorry for being rude, just tired of new-square fans, it's getting ridiculous.
