Not that it wasn't a great year, don't get us wrong, but as far as new games go, the year is ending without a single new release available. This means that we're forced to look to any holiday gifts we may have received or, well, something far worse: no games at all. This is the last weekend of 2007, how are we supposed to end the year without any new games to play?
Enough about us, how will you be sending out 2007? What will you be playing? Any new Wii owners ecstatic to have their first weekend with their console?

I've had my Wii for a few days now, and I'm sticking with the 'classic' games most new owners are playing: Zelda & Mario. I've bought a few others, most notably Madden, Resident Evil, and Wii Play, but I'll take it one step at a time in that department.

I've had mine for the past few months but I'm really enjoying the pure and utter joy of my 6 yo nephew who is still thanking Santa for his Wii. We're big fans of discussing every minute detail of Mario Galaxy.

Rollin' along in NiGHTS 2, which is actually tougher than i thought it would be
What the hell are you supposed to do with the chameleon? Use the paraloops to expose him when he isn't attacking, and use the clue of the cards way up at the top of the arena, but how exactly?

I'm playing Rock Band, Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty 4, and Uncharted on PS3, and Contra 4 on DS (all Christmas gifts). I'm not playing my Wii (no games for Christmas :( ) and I really haven't played it in 2 months. I just couldn't get into Mario Galaxy. SSBB should get me back on it, if it ever gets released...but all those PS3 games should keep me busy until it does hit the shelves.

I received GHIII and I'm loving that, and I got BWii and so I'm playing those with other friends over wifi, it's a blast. It should last me till Brawl.
a rumor, not sure if true. My cousin works at gamestop, and he was checking 2008 releases, and it said "brawl feb 10" in the release "book" but in the computer it had "march 2008" mabey it was just a mistake or my cousin was lying. I hope it's not delayed AGAIN.

I picked up Manhunt 2 for the Wii from Microcenter for $20, and I'm enjoying going between that, Super Mario Galaxy, and Rock Band for the 360 lately. Happy New Year!

SMG, MP3C, and Z&W on Wii. Rock Band, Madden 08, and Scene It (with the family) on 360. Maybe a little Halo 3 and COD4 on the side but they aren't really my style.
Of course, none of this will be touched on New Year's Eve or Day, as I will be consuming various alcohols and watching several football games. Gotta love America ;)

I have the entire New Year's Eve off from work, my wife doesn't. So I'll be at home blasting away terrorists on Ghost Squad with my Zapper and probably playing some Phoenix Wright on my wife's DS (since she won't be using it!)
I'm excitedly looking toward 2008 for some awesome new 3rd party Wii releases! (yeah...they're there...I believe it!...I believe!...)

I will be playing Super Mario Galaxy (almost done) and Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition (got RE4 as a gift...and am getting all freaked out by it, again...since I played back on the 'Cube).
We are going to a Wii related New Year's Party...not sure what we will be playing there. Possibly Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, WarioWare, and other party games. It is a party, after all.
If I can find a copy of Ghost Squad on the cheap, I will pick that up and take it along with us.
