Confirmed: our future lies on the Canary Islands
As if picture-perfect beaches, low taxes and fifty weeks of sunshine a year weren't already good enough reasons to emigrate to the Canary Islands (linked for Americans ... I kid!), then we just found the absolute clincher: a bank in the region that is giving away Wiis ... for free!
Of course, when we say "for free," what we actually mean is "in the form of a €300 loan (with 0% interest) that must be paid back within six months, providing you like the idea of keeping your house." That does mean you'll be paying an extra €50 on top of the usual price of a Wii in Europe, but we suppose the fact you don't have to cough up for six months makes things all better, or at least it does until Dad has to go to jail.
Oh, and what is this fabulous promotion called? Why, it's the CrediWii. Ugh, they're not even trying now.

Some Americans know about Geography and History. Like the Norman Invasion in 1066. Or the American Revolution in 1776. Or the Falkland Island's disaster. Or the Great Train Robbery, how's that going? Basically, if the UK was so great then it would have more going for it beyond Martin Gore and John Lennon, and the Tolkien Estate. Why do you think Martin lives in Santa Barbara? It's for the same reason Dave Gahan lives in New York City. Oh wait, that's where John Lennon moved! So stuff your Canary Islands where you can't get gals to look!

LOL I know, believe me listing two thirds of Depeche Mode moving to America as reasosn why we are better isn't much more serious LOL ;) I should have been a sport and put a (lol get it?) disclaimer though. LOL
DM are one of my fav. bands though, along with the Beatles.

haha I was at Warped tour this July and there was a band walking around outside selling CD's, and they were holding little cardboard signs, one side said we're from New Zealand, the other side had a map showing where New Zealand as a dig at Americans and their lack of geographical knowledge...I'll be the first to admit my knowledge is pretty bad...I can get most of europe, south america, and north american, but when I get the middle east and africa I'm completely clueless...

Look around you, most Americans are stupid. If you are not, then cool. However you have to realise that as far as intelligence goes, America isn't really high-up there in the top rankings.

So the way i look at it is take the loan and put it away somewhere and then in 6 months use the money you borrowed to pay it back in my book that is a free wii... now if i was able to get a deal like this it would mean free money as i would sell the free wii since i already have one... i must say that whoever wrote this story should put a lil more time into thinking of something intelligent to say...
