Ubisoft has dropped the price of the Wii version of My Word Coach to $29.99, which is the same price as the DS version. So now potential My Word Pupils can base their choice in coachery format on considerations other than the pecuniary. We suggest going for the Wii version if you're confident in your word ability (word smarts). By displaying your dominance of the English language on your TV, where others can potentially see, you send an unmistakable message: I know a pretty good number of words. Also I throw strange parties. On the other hand, displaying your flailing attempts to perform well in this game shows an interest in self-improvement. So that's not terrible either!

Whoa this is perhaps the biggest steal of the year. I should get it, if only they hand My Spanish Coach, my friend is in love with the DS version.

I was pretty unhappy with my french coach. It taught vocabulary (which is important) and present tense conjugation of a few main verbs, but in no way did it teach the language. I guess I didn't expect it to make me learn more about how to speak French, but I was hoping to get a little more insight into the language.

It's good to see the price of Wii games starting to fall, becoming more frequent now which is as it should be IMO.
It's been crazy that Wii games have been releasing at the same price as 360 games, there can't be anywhere near the development costs(not only in terms of getting the graphics as close to photo realistic as possible but the Xbox Live modes must add alot of time & money to development).
I haven't bought many Wii games yet as if I have to choose between a 360 & a Wii game for the same money then the 360 is generally going to get the purchase every time(with some exceptions depending game of course). However if the average Wii game were to drop in price of course those (lesser) Wii games will start to become more tempting.

Wii games at the same price as 360 games? Since when? 360 games almost always are $60 at launch, while I have yet to see a Wii game (other than the full GH3 package) that runs for more than $50.

Very tempting. I was browsing around and it seems the UK already has My Spanish/French Coach for the Wii, any idea if this is coming to the US or when.
