Amazon has had some odd "Deal of the Day" sales lately, and today's deal (a Wii Madcatz component cable) is no exception. If you're in need of a component cable for your Wii, though, it might be worth getting. While many of you are often hesitant to buy non-Nintendo accessories, the customer reviews for this cable are overwhelmingly positive. Also, at today's deal price of $10, the cable is almost $20 less than the Nintendo brand one. Also of note is that Cooking Mama for the Wii is on sale at Amazon for $30. We know what you're thinking: "Wasn't Cooking Mama always $30?" The answer is no, but it should have been. The game is being sold through Target, however, which means you can't take advantage of Amazon's sweet free shipping. We're also not sure how long this deal will last, so if you're interested, we recommend jumping on it as soon as possible.

Hmm, wondered why all the price alerts on here lately, just noticed you use affiliate links to the items, bit sneaky of you ask me.

I really don't think cooking mama is worth even 30 bucks, (I paid 50!). Could've been a great game, but it was obviously rushed and poorly thought out, right down to Mama, who's English is even worse that my mama's!

Hell, the bad English is the ONLY redeeming part of this game. The only reason to play is to hear her say 'Better then mama' and 'Do not mind'. Other than that, the 'game' is barely worth a rental.

There is only one cooking mama in my heart and that's Martha Stewart. Am I the only 23 year old her finds her delicious? I think I've said too much.

Yeah I was about to buy one for under two dollars, when I spotted this deal posted here.
I figured the MadCatz to be an acceptable middle ground between the $1.61 (i just looked it up) "Who knows if it'll work for 10 years or 10 days" version and the $29 "Who knows if this is any better than all the cheaper ones" Nintendo version.
I -love- these deal posts; they're among the most concretely useful of the site's many very useful posts.
Thanks Wiifanboy for helping me get MadCatz Cables for $10 today, and Twilight Princess for $25-30 new from Circuit City just a month or so after its release. Huzzah!
