In the beginning (er,
in November), there was a "light sword," and now,
there is another. The question is: which one best allows you to enjoy your own
Star Wars Kid experience?* Er ... which design is better? We're coming down on the side of this johnny-come-lately "light sword" so far. We'll say one thing: once (if) there's
a game that
really utilizes peripherals (and the Wiimote, obviously) like this to full effect, we may give 'em a try. Not that we would ever, ever tell anyone that we'd done it. And we would close all the curtains first. And bar the doors. And break all our cameras --
just in case.
*Unfortunately, the answer is neither, because they're all
too damned short. We need some double-bladed business up in here.

God I wonder how I out of almost all people my age think Star Wars is a silly franchise that was only ever tolerable because of the humour of Harrison Ford, a condition long since not applicable to the franchise. I would rather puke up a snake that would then eat me then play with these things. I got accused by girls in middle school of being a huge star wars fan even though I hated it and they told me they remembered me wearing SW shirts (my friends did) and I wish they would all go to hell, along with these swords lol

See, I really am the only person in this scene who doesn't like SW. HAHA. Well, it's for kids everybody. Deal with it.

Simply for the alt handle/grip I'd choose dark knight.....that and I've always been tempted by the dark side..............
You gotta think though if their bigger most people would be swinging like mad fanboys and probably smash everything up....

Yeah, but you all know there's a multi-player SW game headed our way at SOME point in the Wii's life-span.
I'm am so going "Luke, I am your father" on my friends with these when that happens... :)

ha ha that makes me feel good about being 23. i sure don't act like a 40 year old man when it comes to listening to 'zenryoku shounen' by sukima switch, playing video games all the time, saying weird things, or acting silly. but as long as i do when it comes to liking a franchise devoid of depth and filled with regrettable things (mitichlorians, jar jar, space opera) then yes, i don't like star wars. i DO like lots of ACTUAL things, like kurt Vonnegut, Nintendo, Tolkien, and WORKING and GOING TO SCHOOL. You know, things that have stuff someone older than SEVEN can like without feeling guilt (and even then nintendo is iffy)

Haha, personally I'm partial to dual short sabers myself, although the doublesided is better overall. Jedi Academy owned back in the day, and it'd be awesome if they made a game like it for the Wii. The thing about the double-sided is that you can pretty much block anything, and the offense is great too. But dual short sabers feels cooler.
