While we're not as shocked as Richie up there, we are surprised that Wii Fit has sold over a million in Japan. In little over a month, the bundle has managed to show many in Japan that it's to be taken seriously, and not the flash in the pan that some have come to think Wii Sports is. The real question is: did it inspire weight loss and healthy living for any of its adopters?
Any of our readers outside of Japan planning on picking this up when a release date is revealed?

If I have the funds available once the Wii fit is released over here States side. Hopefully it will cost less then 100.00. Since I will also be purchasing No More Heroes, One Piece Unlimited Adventure, and Super Smash Bros Brawl all within a time frame of two paychecks.

My wife and I are both planning on getting one of these. I am wishing but doubtful that they will sell the board by itself so I won't end up needing to buy 2 full kits.

There's no multiplayer except jogging that uses just the wiimote. When games come out that DO have board-using multiplayer, they prolly will package it separate, but for now you don't need two.

Any multiplayer would probably be sequential, like Wii Sports Bowling and Golf

I'm interested in it, but I doubt I'll run to every game store in town just to assure to get one on release day.
Mom will love it, that's for sure.

I plan to buy it after Brawl and No More Heroes lose their maximum appeal and I can tear myself away from my Wii for long enough to get to Amazon.com and order it. So... Basically, I'll probably end up buying it in a month or two.

I'm not going to buy it. I personally don't find the premise of the game alluring.

The release date for the U.S. is December 2008 costing about $75 in japan, I'm expecting for Everywhere else to be. Anyone that wanted it to be under 100 dollars, your in luck. :D
