You do? Great! And do you also recall how N64 games would occasionally pop up on the Virtual Console? No?Well, we can't blame you if it slipped your mind. It's been almost three months since PAL gamers last saw an N64 game on the VC (for the record, it was Yoshi's Story), but this week sees the fuzz-tacular console make a return. And, despite our snarky tone, 1080° Snowboarding is actually an ace reminder of the console. This blogger still has fresh memories of shaving milliseconds from his best Time Trial performances with Dion Blaster. Never did pull off a 1080°, mind.
Streets of Rage imitator Riot Zone makes the leap from the Turbografx-16 to complete this week's PAL platter of retro goodness.
- 1080° Snowboarding -- N64 -- 1000 Wii points
- Riot Zone -- Turbografx -- 800 Wii points

Hmm... I may be US, but we tend to get games around the time you guys do, and, unless I'm mistaken, we don't have 1080 yet...
And I would probably like it... I never owned it, though I played it once... and I got 1080 Avalanche and loved it...

It's so sad how not good 1080 was for Gamecube was after how good the N64 one was...
It's also sad how Nintendo hasn't figured out a way around anything that requires the controller pak on N64 games, hence the lack of them on the VC.

Why is there so much hate for the virtual console. The last N64 game before this was Pokemon Snap. To be honest i'd prefer a harddrive to be bought out before many more N64 games.

Man I am dying for some N64 love on the VC...it was my favorite system. I hate how Nintendo is handling (not handling at all) the controller pak situation in N64 games.

1080 was a great game, and subsequently taught me all the multiples of 180. Very useful in geometry/trig.

Me too! I played through it on a two day rental when it came out and never owned the cart so I can't wait to get at it again.

If you can find one, you can get Majoras mask on the Zelda bonus disc that came with Wind Waker. Had Zelda 1 and 2, Majoras Mask and OOT all playable on the cube.

How where you supposed to get that disc? I got the preorder bonus, but that was just OoT and Master Quest. They want $40 for that disc at Gamestop which I think is a complete ripoff.
