Uhhhh...where's my "1080"?!? I was going to buy a VC title this week, too!! (I already have "Street Fighter II: Turbo Hyper Fighting," so I'm not sure I need this one...)

But don't you want to be DeeJay?
but seriously every version of Street Fighter 2 is available on the VC now? How unnecessary... unless of course they threw in online play

Isn't there also a (missing) Super SF2 *Turbo*? Or am I forgetting something?
Hrm, WP seems to indicate that the Turbo edition didn't make it to any Nintendo systems. Is that right?

Nope, I got SF 2 Turbo for my SNES..I live in Europe, so maybe it just didn't make it to the USA..although that's kinda unlikely.

I suggest everyone who has a PS2 or Xbox to skip this version of SF2 and get the Capcom Classic Collection Vol.2 or The Hyper Street Fighter 2 & Third Strike pack.
Said collections include Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, which is a lot better than SSF2: more moves, more diversified characters, faster gameplay, better peripherals to play the games etc.

Another lackluster VC release in January. They should have just release 1080.

Bought SF2 Hyper (or Turbo or super-speed-seizure-zone or whatever).
I think I'll skip this SSF2 and wait for SSF2 Turbo.

Is it just me, or did all of these later versions of SF2 play themselves out? For the SNES, Super SF2 was the last one I bought after SF2: Turbo Hyper Fighting. And I still would rather play SF2 Turbo than Super SF2.
Tell me people actually used the new characters? I remember I tried to, but they were just weak compared to the main guys. I stuck with Ryu, Ken, Sagat, Guile
