Look, we know we've had our ups and downs. It's not been all roses in our relationship. We've had to go through a lot together and our bonds have grown because of that. But, we have one more thing we must ask of you: purchase No More Heroes. Look, we all know how tough a time the game had selling in Japan, so we're hoping it does better here in the United States. If you don't do it for us, then do it for poor Suda 51. We hear he's getting evicted from his apartment and moving back in with his mother.
This week's releases are:
- No More Heroes
- Endless Ocean
- Kawasaki Jet Ski
- One Piece Unlimited Adventure

I need to get No More Heros. With Brawl pushed back none of us should have any reason not to pick it up.

lol, real mii. who's ever cared about the publics opinion?
Definitely getting No More Heroes. And, because I liked the One Piece fighters on the PS2, I'm probably getting One Piece Limited Adventure. Why did they copypasta the Japanese title -.-

I got Endless Ocean and even If you are a diver like me the game is a bore. Once you've seen all spots and completed the main "quest" things get really boring really fast. Don't waste your money unless you are a true fish lover. Can't wait to get my hands on NMH though, unfortunately it will be another month until we people from "ye Olde Worlde" can get our hands on that precious.

What if you think fishes are cute?
Would that make it more interesting?

@SoshiKitai:
Let me put it this way, even the cutest fish (especially virtual ones) become boring after you have seen them a couple of times. The game is really fascinating until your species log is about two thirds full then you will most likely be done with the main diving "quest" and everything from then on is random exploring at will. You will have seen hundreds of the same fish with an occasional mystery. I didn't find pleasure in petting the same fish over and over to reveal all details and end up with half of the things anyway simply because I didn't even come across most of the smaller species (birds, lobsters etc.). The athmosphere is great though, diving in the deep sea crevice below 120m is really creepy and the overall underwater "action" is really calm. Maybe if you're really into fish then go for it. Seeing the whales up close is really impressive. But for cute fish I'd rather spend that game on a Finding Nemo DVD.

I really dislike the NMH box art. I'm kind of stuck between what to buy. No More Heroes for my Wii, or Advanced Wars for my DS. I really don't have any DS games, so I'm leaning twords that option right now. :/

I'm so sad. Over here in Canada, Toronto to be specific it seems confirmation date for the game is Feb 1st and not the 22nd >.< I can't hold off that long, can anyone confirm this or did the ebgames guy lie to me?

You don't have to tell me twice; or once even.
I've been waiting for an original game like No More Heroes on the Wii for a long time. I just hope all those GTA and Light Saber references hold up. As long as Santa Destroy is at least as big as one of San Andreas' cites (with all of the requiset treasure hunting and power ups) and the "beam katana" chops people to bits, I think I'll be happy.

Normally, I wait for a used copy of a game to show up, but not for NMH. Suda's getting a sale out of me, that's for sure.

Yeah this is big. I think it's important to buy this game and prove that a non-Nintendo action game can perform well. I told all my friends about it. And I am betting this game is going to bring home the goods. The reviews so far look solid. What a great way to spend my ten dollars i got from walmart.com!

I think I'm still going to rent NMH this weekend before I put down the cash, but the critics are starting off very positive.

Expect NMH to disappoint, big time.
My bet is it will be on eBay for $15 in two months after everyone completes it and has nothing left to do, and doesn't find mashing the A button over and over to be fun anymore.
