Being a pretty niche market for this game it would be a nice online title, of course on the Wii it looks as though that won't be an option yet again so I'll pass.

Why does everyone make a big deal about the dreamcasts fishing rod? I had the fishing rod for the N64, that was cool!

Everyone makes a big deal about it because it quite simply is the best fishing controller ever made, and it had a few excellent Sega fishing (Bass 1 + 2, Marine) games to back it up. In my opinion it was the first great mainstream motion controller, and by a long shot. It did what it was supposed to do, everytime, flawlessly. I still use mine at least once a month, and at almost 10 years old, it still works perfectly. So, too, does my Dreamcast, which is my daily CD player as it is the only device outside of my computer that will play any CD I put in it, regaurdless of brand or burn speed.

I pray they keep the original announcer. I played this game so much on my DC that my wife still remembers all the lines the announcer says even though she's never played the game. Every once in awhile she'll drop one of those lines on me out of the blue and I just crack up.

fishing games are just.. weird.
as a Deadliest Catch fanboy i would like to see a crabbing game though!
throw that hook! find the crab! navigate through dangerous waters and avoid the ice! it would be awesome...
