If these ten reasons weren't enough to motivate you into grabbing yourself a copy of Dewy's Adventure, try considering this argument: Amazon has the cutesy labyrinthine game on sale for $19.79.Despite the control issues many reviewers cited with Dewy's Adventure, we have to commend Konami for taking a risk producing an original title, and it's a Wii exclusive at that! It's a shame that it didn't sell very well in any of the three major territories. As usual, we can't guarantee that this deal will be available for long, so take advantage of it while you can.

I wonder how many reviewers that complained about the controls even tried to use the A button.
Together with the instant stop techique (press 2, instantly press 1 and hold it down) , it eliminates most of the controller related problems.
Dewy for $20 is... amazing.

Admittedly I didn't find the controller fixes you mention before giving up on the game when I rented it. I found the level design to be fairly repetitive and boring, but it's hard to compare, at least in my book, to the excellent designs and variety in Mario Galaxy. I think I preferred Electrobits to Dewy.

Amazon has it for $37.99. $19.79 is the price for a used copy.

Hmm, the link you posted disagrees with you and if you search Amazon for "Dewy's Adventure" you get this: "Buy New for $19.79". So...

You could also get it from Gamestop for $19.99 new if you don't trust Amazon.

I think it is a permanent price drop. Gamestop dropped it to $19.99 this morning (along with Elebits and Metal Slug Anthology).
All 3 games are worth $50, so getting all 3 for not much more than that is a STEAL! Shame on anyone who doesn't pick up these 3 games.

I bought Dewy's Adventure at release for £35 (but with Christmas vouchers it only cost £15), and had read some of the reviews.
I took a risk, and it paid off. It's a hard game to describe, mixing many gameplay elements, and it's just a really nice game. It's an adorable game I can't put down and at times is difficult (if you're trying to complete each level 100%), though rarely is it frustrating.
I can't help but think the reviewers were either afraid to admit they liked Dewy's diabetes-inducing sweetness, or just weren't expecting a difficult game on the Wii.
Buy it, if not for yourself, then to show Nintendo you want more original IPs and third party games!

if you buy anything (someone mentioned Elebits) at Gamestop used, make sure to use the coupon code "AFF25" -- i just used it and it works 25% off :-) . if you use the 2.99 shipping elebits is 17 bucks!

I really value that Wii Fanboy posts deals like that - I think I got my lead on a cheap Puzzle Quest from here, too. I am not a very good bargain hound, so I appreciate the tip!!!
