Gamefly has always been a great source for finding out about new games, and thanks to some sleuthing from the folks at Siliconera, another one may have been revealed.
According to a listing on the game rental site, Konami's DS series Lost in Blue might be jumping ship to the Wii. As Levi points out, the game can be an even better fit on the Wii than it was on the DS. While the DS is a great system for adventure games, the Wiimote might make the minigame portions of the title more fun and less tedious. Furthermore, we've already seen that point-and-click works well on the Wii, so Lost in Blue has the potential to become a welcome addition on the little white console.
We know that a lot of you are fans of the quirky survival series, so what are your thoughts on this rumor?

I think it's long overdue, the Wii is the perfect platform for the Lost in Blue series. I hope this rumor is true and can't wait to get my copy!

Awesomeness... if it's true, that'd just be plain awesomeness...
If not, then... I'll just stick to the old games.

I wanted to love the first game, but I really just found it hard to do. I heard the two subsequent sequels were nothing new, and generally worse.
If they make it for the Wii, I hope they can really give the franchise a fresh start, since I really want to like this series.

Agreed. I played like an hour of the first game, but couldn't really "get" the point. Maybe if I had invested more time? I dunno, but if you can't get a hook in after a solid hour, you built your game wrong.

I hope the rumor is true! And I played the 2nd game on DS. I found it is a great game. I think the game is not for the light gamer, it is not a shootum up, and it is not one of those games to where "a magical fairie brings you back to life". It is however one of the best Sim games I have ever played: http://dealstudio.com/searchdeals.php?deal_id=81477&ru=279 , and I am really expecting the Wii!

I really liked these games on the DS. I was not a fan of the second. But even if it is the same old thing for the Wii I am going to want this any way.

Man - I really really liked the Lost in Blue series, but it was just so damn hard.
Seriously - how can you not be full from eating 4 whole fish, 6 coconuts, a few mushrooms, some herbs, and potatoes? HOW?!?
Japanese kids must be REALLY hungry...? \:|
