I've never tried Columns 3. How is it compared to Columns 1?

Wasn't this week the 200th VC title? Maybe I have that wrong. I was expecting something BIG today!
I liked Operation Wolf on the NES when it came out for the light gun. I don't know if I would download it here though. Still... for $5 it's not a big investment. I wish they made it work like the new gun games with the Wii remote.

The VC needs more turn based RPGs.
The only good one so far is Breath of Fire II.

Agreed. Even though I'm enjoying BoFII, it's not really quencing my thirst for some of those great SNES RPGs.

My guess is Square-Enix is being reluctant to release their stuff on the VC since they milk it so much for the handhelds. A shame really.

Gah. Where is my Ssuper Smash Bros? Where's Mario RPG? Kirby Super Star? I have such a long list of wanted release games. Stop with the NES games, at the very least. We need more SNES and N64 games.

I used to love Operation Wolf, but it absolutely had to have the light gun.
Using the D-pad to aim and fire was nearly impossible.

All I used was the dpad back in the day. Still, while I'd pick this thing up in heartbeat if they took a day or two to add IR support, I'm not sure I will as-is.

And No, we dont really need SNES games.

I'm pretty disappointed with the VC releases this year. I want the original Yoshi's Island, Smash Bros, Chrono Trigger, Mario RPG, Secret of Evermore, Blast Corps, Perfect Dark (probably will never happen)

Operation Wolf was by far my favorite NES light gun game. Without a light gun, the game was pretty much pointless. I wouldn't bother getting it now since the classic controller isn't a light gun.
Luckily, I still own the original.

Are they serious with this crap? (I say that as someone who has never played either of today's two releases -- I'm not really calling them crap, just comparatively.)
Where's my Mario RPG? Where's my Zombies Ate My Neighbors? In the "never gonna happen" column, where's my Shadowrun (both the SNES and the Sega versions, please)?
Grr. Stupid Nintendo.

I agree with many of you, no wait, all of you. Why keep on adding NES/N64 games? Add some freakin' SNES RPGs! You know..Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI (they should use the GBA translation), Secret of Mana and Mario RPG. Can't we just go on Nintendo's website forums and make a poll on which big RPG should be released on the VC next?

Eh, the PC Engine version of Operation Wolf was much improved over the NES version. But I'm thinking we'll likely never see that game released here.
Are they ever going to release arcade original versions of any of these games? Ports were acceptable in the past because that was the best the hardware could do back then. But this is 10-20 years later. Take SSF2 Turbo, for example. I'd throw down a couple of extra bucks over the price of the SNES version for the arcade version of that game. But I'm not willing to pay even $8 for the SNES port. (Especially when I still have the superior 3DO version.)

What the hell Nintendo? Why do you keep putting out crap when you can put out gems? Is their bank vault overrun with money, that there is no more room for more, thats why they put stuff out no one will buy?
